Let me just start by saying that John Lubinsky and his team were incredible. When my wife and I…read morefirst set out to find a house to buy we were tasked with finding a realtor that fit both our needs and our style. The first 3 people we interviewed were as carbon copy as they come. But then we found John, who struck us as just the right guy for the job. In the months that followed, we saw our intuition validated tenfold as John worked his tail off for us. Every time we came across a home that seemed to fit, John made time to come out and walk the homes with us. John was personable, attentive to our needs, direct, candid, communicative, and could countless times be found on his hands and knees in the basement of a home, holding is trusty flashlight, doing his darndest to find an installation date on the central air unit or water heater. With the Columbus housing market as crazy as it currently is, we had a lot of trouble finding the right house at the right price. We walked through at least a dozen homes before we found the right one and John was there for all of them. He always talked over the pros and cons of the houses and knew school district lines by memory. When we started to get frustrated, he never did; always saying "we'll find the right one." He was patient and calculating, and he was eventually right. When we did find the right home, he called the seller's realtor to find out what they were after, advised us on what tweaks we could make to the offer to make it more appealing, had us write a letter to the seller, then had a clean and attractive offer to the seller within 12 hours. In 48 hours, the home we wanted had 7 competing offers, but the next morning we got the call that ours was the one that had been chosen. To boot, ours was not even the highest offer - just the best! Now we have the house of our dreams all thanks to John. So seriously, if you are looking for a realtor who is a decided cut above the rabble, look no farther than John Lubinsky.
