I called and was connected with John, he listened to my needs and all my issues I had attached to my loan needs. He spoke to me with the warmth of an old friend. He explained a plan and what each step would entail. He was always 3 steps ahead and anticipating what would be next for me. John has excellent communication skills and always answered my calls. I did get my loan and everything went very smoothly. Shout out to my broker, John Bonanno! Great job, thank you so much.

The only thing tougher than finding an honest auto mechanic might be finding an honest, responsive,…read moreand expert mortgage loan broker. John Bonanno and his Funding Concepts Group is that rare find. We had a tough situation that few brokers would take on because it wasn't a huge loan and didn't represent a big payday for them. Plus it would require a creative approach and work on their part due to some unique financial challenges. I didn't even think John would take us on, let alone get us funded. John said he would do everything he could, and we have never experienced a more effective, dynamic, or knowledgeable result. He really came through. "Going the extra mile" has become a trite phrase, devoid of real meaning. But John truly went that extra mile. He found us the right lender, and more important, he guided us through the process, always filled with information and answering our endless questions, and guiding us to that final approval. All the while John was fun to talk to, full of super useful tips, always cheerful and positive, and always searching for the best deal for our situation. While Refi-ing is not a particularly fun process, John made it so. In fact, we used him again when rates dropped, and he always remains in touch, advising us of particularly interesting rates or coming changes. In my lifetime, I have worked with many mortgage brokers. In fact, I spent 29 years working in the real estate lending industry and we had hundreds of brokers as clients and business partners. In those 29 years, I cannot think of one who could touch John Bonanno and his Group. John is far more than a broker; he's a mortgage counselor and loan expert. He is my first and only call, and I have him on speed dial. My family is grateful to him for the work he's done for us. Now if he could only fix cars...

Scott has been great to work with, we wouldn't hire anyone else as a realtor! When selling our home, he provided a lot of great advice on staging and setting the mood for buyers. Both times the home was in escrow within 30 days of listing it. When buying our most recent home, he was our point person between inspectors, our bank, escrow company, and helped keep everything moving along so we were able to close escrow early. He was also extremely helpful in the negotiating process as well. Scott goes above and beyond for his clients. He's helped out in so many areas that I wouldn't expect from a realtor, and he's made our lives so much easier during these times. I'd recommend him to anyone looking to buy or sell a home in Orange County.

He wasn't even our realtor (he was the sellers realtor) and this shady character, intimidated us into paying him out of our own pocket (we didn't know then that only the seller was supposed to pay the realtors). My second experience was good and easy, but in a non-competitive market. Well third time is a charm...I met Jason through a friend referral and knew instantly that I'd love him. Smart, direct, thorough, and most importantly kind and honest. We started buying during the influx of purchases through the nation and competition was rising. We missed out on our first couple efforts, but we and Jason buckled up and got to it! Our next find was a win. We got the house of our dreams for an amazing price - better than any of the others we thought we missed out on. There are so many shady realtors and lenders out there (worse than car salesman) and how scary is it to not trust the person who is supposed to be helping you through this complicated journey on an enormous lifetime purchase. I feel forever grateful that we had Jason as our guide. We now consider him not only a friend, but our forever realtor and property investment advisor. Thank you, Jason!

Good on you for checking reviews...here are the facts regarding my experience with Katnik Brothers…read moreReal Estate. My closest friends used Katnik Brothers for the sale of their Tustin properties and had all good things to say about their services. In 2025, I relocated out of state and now needed someone to manage the entire process of preparing my home for sale, which included interior and exterior painting, tile and grout repairs, house cleaning, window cleaning, furniture staging, and movers to pack my belonging and deliver as directed. In March 2026, I called Karl Katnik on his cell #, he met me at the house, and I shared that I don't have any time to deal with the transaction during my move out of state and need someone to completely manage the process. Karl assured me that they do this all the time, they have the contractors and staff to take this off my plate. Karl asked what I was thinking for a selling price, and then he shared his thoughts on what investment was needed on my part to support that selling price. I went with his recommendations, we agreed upon the timeline, and then I signed the DocuSign agreement to proceed. I was introduced to his associate Hannah Goldman who was my point person for the rest of the transaction and provided timeline updates and managed the service providers who were assigned to my project. Hannah kept me well informed and the Katnik operations team provided all the electronic documentation for the transaction that I could complete while out of the area. The home was prepared for sale, listed, and sold within the agreed timeframe and terms that we wanted. The entire process was seamless for both buyers and sellers. I will certainly recommend Hannah and Karl to anyone looking to sell their home, and they will be my first phone call if I decide to buy another home in Orange County. Always a relief to enlist a partner who delivers on their promises, so big thank you to Hannah, Karl, and the rest of the Katnik Brothers team.
