My company was hosting an event and we wanted to make our own wine instead of buying from the LCBO…read moresince it would be more affordable. We are located near Vintners of Kilworth so we decided to get as local as we could and inquired about making some wine from them. We are very inexperienced in wine making so we found out that we were a few weeks too late to create our own batches of wine before the big event. Since we were in a bind, the owner was happy to sell us the wine he was creating for himself. All I had to do was create a fresh batch to replace it. We got 2 batches of wine (a French Colombard and Italian Amarone), 30 bottles (24 bottles if you get it less watered down) and with the bottles, it cost about $260. Dave, the owner, was always very kind and professional. This was a process I was very unfamiliar with but he made it so easy and was welcoming. This was my first wine making experience so I cant compare it to much and I'm not a huge wine connoisseur but our attendees at the event we hosted enjoyed the wine and I only heard good things. My coworker was so impressed by the prices and the service that she is ready to purchase a case for herself. I am very pleased with the service here and will recommend it to anyone looking to get some wine made up!

As a venue for craft fairs, this location is pretty cool. The building layout causes a few traffic…read morejams if extremely busy though. Less people definitely make it a more enjoyable experience for me, so I preferred the medieval craft fair vs the Christmas one. There is cafe space and a lovely outdoor gazebo so one has event options. Awesome photo opportunities too. I think the fairs are coordinated by outside vendors so I can't speak of Bellamere staff or amenities; however the venue itself is gorgeous! Parking seems plentiful enough.

The only reason this place is getting 2 stars is because the actual building is really well…read moredecorated and has large principle rooms for receptions etc. However, the staff looked like they were at a funeral. Only two of the staff that I saw bore a smile. The rest looked like they were not very happy to be there. I get it, but working in the hospitality business, especially one that caters to wedding receptions is going to require you to work Saturday nights regularly. Now onto the food. I have had airplane food that tasted better and I ride economy. The soup was cold and tasted like they took Campbells tomato soup and combined it with Hunts spaghetti sauce. There were two options for dinner. I chose the steak. I received half a strip loin that was just, and I mean just over rare and it was cold. Also it was full of sinew. After four attempts at eating it and having to remove the un-chewable wad of meat from my mouth (which by the way is extremely embarrassing at a  table of people I did not know ) my husband gave me half of his but his was even more under cooked that I could not eat it either. My vegetables that consisted of three green beans two carrots and a slice of red pepper were dripping in butter and also cold. The mashed potatoes were soggy with so much butter and tasted like they had about a teaspoon of salt thrown in, and yes, they too were cold. A child and a woman at our table had ordered the children's choice which consisted of three breaded chicken strips and allot of soggy overcooked greasy unpeeled french fries. They both tried the chicken and did not like it. The child  took one fry dunked it into ketchup and didn't even want to finish it. I tried one of the fries and again it was overcooked, cold and greasy. Onto desert, which was two cream stuffed crepes with a raspberry coulis and chocolate syrup placed beautifully on the plate. It looked really nice. Unfortunately it did not live up to it. The cream was flavourless and the crepe was bland. I did like the raspberry coulis and the chocolate syrup but left the rest. Never have I been to an event where I have left so much on my plate uneaten. Considering the price they are charging for this dinner, one would expect it to be at least consumable. I would NOT recommend this place for any food related events.

Danny's has most of what you'll need to brew your own beer and wine - lots of kits, gear, tools -…read morebasically everything to get you going on your own. Directly put, they need to read a few books on customer service. I bought grains in Toronto to be able to visit London to do a first brew with family, and Danny's was the closest to downtown that would perhaps help us out to mill our grains. Easily done - a service that most shops in and around Toronto will gladly offer for a pretty low price. It's a service after all. When we called them to ask if they'd mill our grains, the person who answered the phone then asked us if we were going to buy anything else from the shop, as "that's how they make their money." Hm. The next day when we actually went in to see if they'd mill them, the number of excuses why they didn't want to mill them was amazing. Something about rodents and bugs and contamination of our grains mixed with their mill, and oh, the battery was dead anyway on their mill. What? Give me another reason why you don't want us to spend money in your shop - please. We left, and went to BrewHaven (literally, a haven for brewers!) who very gladly milled our Toronto grains for only $6 (18lbs). The person we dealt with at Danny's unfortunately had a politician's brashness to them - not suitable for service and for attempting to bring more business into their fledgeling Wine and Beers shop. You've lost us as customers, and to dozens more local brewers who will, no doubt, be heading over to BrewHaven.

The prices are competitive and I've never been disappointed with the finished product. There are cheeses and honey for sale at different times.
