I asked if I could book an appt. they gave me one the next day. I asked if they needed my name or insurance information. The man told me "no, just your phone number". I thought that was weird, so I gave them my phone number and name. I arrived the following day for my appt and asked the girl at the front desk if I was suppose to sign in. She told me "yes". I asked if she wanted my insurance card and she said "oh, are you a new patient?" I said "yes". And she asked for my insurance and ID, then handed me new patient paperwork that appeared to have been copied way too many times because it was hard to read. I filled out the paperwork and handed it back to the receptionist. The doctor came out in a ball cap, polo shirt, shorts and dirty shoes with what appeared to be no socks. I was thrown back by how unprofessional this establishment was and how disheveled they doctor appeared. When I got in the room the doctor told me that he does not take any insurance and asked me what my copay was and told me he would just charge me my copay because he wanted to make it affordable to me. He then told me that he doesn't take x-rays and he could start cracking on my back if I wanted him to, then all of the sudden got excited about ultrasound. He brought me to another room where his 1980's looking ultrasound machine was located. He took his "bowl" that appears to be, what I believe was a bleach bottle that had the top cut off, put some stuff in it and went to warm it up. Then he did this ultrasound/shocking thing on my low back. Surprisingly it helped, but I felt fairly uncomfortable the entire time. When he was done he suggested I buy a "train ticket", which I believe is a 4 visit package. I asked to just pay my bill and since I'm so nice, I just scheduled a follow up appt. with every intention on cancelling it the following business day. When I asked how much the visit was, they charged me $40, instead of my "copay rate". I am extremely dissatisfied with their customer service, professionalism and cleanliness. I wish I was a little more verbal from the start. I should have walked out as soon as the receptionist didn't even ask for my name or knew that I was a new patient. That is my fault, but I most certainly will not return or recommend this office to anyone.

The facility was really clean, and they had refreshments as well. There is an entire wall of shoe inserts and shoes that have our support which is excellent and very necessary. Carmel greeted me right at the door and was so friendly and accommodating! If you park in the lot, she will validate your parking ticket for you. Doctor Monica spent over an hour with me for a consultation and adjustment. We spoke in depth about my pain and concerns, and then she explained what she believed we needed to work on. She said she really focuses on muscle therapy, in addition to adjustment, which has already made a world of difference after one visit. I've been dealing with a shoulder injury for 8 years, and it has recently worsened. After one session with her, I am feeling much better. I then had a massage with Alicia, and it complimented my adjustment perfectly! I've never had a professional massage focus time on my head and feet, and it felt so nice! Important to point out, the practice is currently only accepting BCBS insurance. I'm fortunate to have that so I only have a co-pay for the adjustment and massage, but if you don't have BCBS, the massage would be $80, and I'm not sure the cost of the adjustment. Also worth noting is that the office space is so nice! It's clean, modern, inviting, and has spa vibe to it, as opposed to a medical office. Finally, it's located in Gaslight Village, so after my appointment, I ventured to Starbucks for a coffee and to read my book. Great day!
