Our pool built by Richie's pool. We love it.

Richie build a pool for us at the end of last summer in record time. A neighbor had started their project in May with another company and still was not finished after we were already enjoying our fantastic pool. He and his great team did all he promised, it looks fantastic and we can't wait to start using it again (at the moment it's January and as much as I love my pool at 35º I won't be in it) We did not have any of the problems people like Gregory had with Richie. He always answered his phone or rang back if he was busy. He was professional and fun to work with. We did pay our instalments as required. Maybe that helps. They even changed out our pool heater after we said, that there should be a cooler for Florida summers. Richie said there was and if we wanted one he would change it for us.. All in all great company to work with. Can recommend highly.

This is one of the first projects she took on from the passing of my dad and her experience was not so good. Bianchi Concrete performed poor service, was untruthful and took advantage of a single lady trying to do work on her house. These guys should be ashamed of themselves. Please do not use this service! Contractor: Bianchi Concrete, Inc. Bianchiconcreteinc.com Beverly Hills, FL 34465 or Homosassa, FL 34448 License: #2579 Project: Repair or replace cracked concrete located on my 3-vehicle carport. (Water was seeping through the cracks and flooding the lower level of my home.) Saturday, January 19, 2019 - Estimate and Verbal Agreement: 1. John Bianchi and one of his workers came to look over the project and give me an estimate. John measured the area, said he would pour 4 inches of concrete over existing cracked concrete. When I questioned if covering existing concrete could be done, he said the existing concrete was done settling and pouring new concrete over it would be fine. He would use a concrete mixture with fiberglass, which is stronger. 2. They would dig drainage areas on the sides of the carport to make sure the rainwater from the gutter down spouts would flow away from the carport. 3. Would use a concrete pump truck to pour the concrete because of the paver driveway. 4. After concrete is poured they would return and clean up all splatter. 5. Price quoted by John: $6,500.00 (If I agreed he would need $2,500 down payment with check made out to him, and the balance when project was completed.) 6. I cut a check for $2,500. Thursday, January 24 - Begin framing and concrete removal for Friday pour. John notified me that he couldn't get the concrete delivery until 1:00 pm on Friday, so he moved the pour to Monday. Monday, January 28 - Concrete Pour The cement truck showed up (not a pumper) and drove over my fairly new paver driveway. John didn't order enough therefore he had to order another yard of concrete. The second truck showed up and once again, drove on top of my paver driveway. While concrete was still wet, John had his worker insert a template with his business information into my concrete without telling me, or getting my approval. John requested final payment of $5,000. I replied that the balance was $4,000, not $5,000. John said I misunderstood, I disagreed and he said I was wrong. Therefore I destroyed the $4,000 and wrote out a new check for $5,000 though I knew he was wrong. I had no written contract from him until I paid him the balance, then he wrote out a contract. Tuesday, January 29 - John and his two workers returned to insert stress lines in concrete. Then left without talking with me. I looked over the project and was very disappointed. The house siding, two kayaks, shed siding, and pavers were all splattered with concrete. He never worked on the drainage issue as he was contracted to do. The stress lines they put into the concrete were very disappointing. Once the concrete dried it was very messy looking, had shoe prints from him and his workers, as well as scrapes from tools. The concrete itself has dark areas. Three weeks after the concrete pour, the new concrete is cracking. I gave John a call and expressed how disappointed I was in the final product. He has not returned my call.

When we moved in the master bath sink faucet was a used facet, with calcium deposit all over it (we are on a well)??? Master shower did not have hot water (come to find out after cutting a hole in the wall, the hot and cold pipes are switched and they used a knock off of a Moen water valve (no wonder it was leaking), Air conditioner did not work and now 2 years later the blower motor had to be replaced, after we moved in and used the dishwasher, it wouldn't work (burnt wire nut), rough electric contractors asked me who did the finish electric because they were never asked to come back...... (so who did it)?, there is splattered paint, chucks of mortar and stucco all over the front and back Lanias, garage corner and front porch columns did not have caps on top of fake brick base and were left looking sloppy, tray ceiling and light is not centered with Picture window in dinning room and window crooked and very hard to lock, garage door into the house fell off 2 days after moving in because it only was being held up with thin 1" screws, we did not get any shelves for either bathroom vanities (told us they cost extra), granite snack bar wobbles, gap in corner of patio doors (you can see outside), tan grout on white base trim throughout house. Called and sent an itemized excellent sheet by rooms a week before the 1 year warranty and still have not had any response (1.5 years later), much less finishing the list from my walk through inspection. As far as the value-the cheapest lights and windows you could buy! Quality-none!!! Service-absolutely NO CUSTOMER SERVICE unless you enjoy talking to a message machine and no return call(s), I was told she would send pictures because we were from out of town but I would have to wait several weeks to get them after calling several times and talking to an answering machine. Thanks to having neighbors that would go over and take pictures for me. No idea who could rate this company anything over a 0! But if I don't put something, then anything I said would not make anyone looking to build with them a reason to look what happened to me. I wouldn't try to sell this as a spec home much less a "custom home".

I can only advise you to run--don't walk--from this contractor. He comes across as eager to…read morecollaborate and create a plan for your yard, but he is a con artist. He presents a lengthy contract filled with fine print that hides hidden fees. We trusted him and, unfortunately, didn't read it closely enough. At the start, he seemed interested in our ideas and wanted us to be part of the process, but that's when the problems began. With each payment, we were hit with unforeseen charges that were not included in the contract, charges we never agreed to. Although he promised to submit change orders for our approval, we never received any. The project ended up taking three times longer to complete than it should have. We didn't ask for a completion date at the beginning, which was a mistake on our part. It took four months to finish a project that should have taken just three weeks. After a few weeks, all his workers quit, and he had to hire new ones. These new workers were often left unattended for days on our project and frequently asked us for guidance. Whenever I asked about a completion date, I received lengthy excuses about delays. The final straw was when he showed me a plant he had already planted and then requested an additional $500 for it. After spending tens of thousands of dollars, I was shocked. When I mentioned I liked bottle brush trees, he planted one without providing a quote or informing me of the cost. I would never approve $500 for a small tree I could buy for $99. When I said I didn't want it, he threatened a restocking fee for something I never agreed to, so I ended up paying just to keep the project moving. In his landscape plan he recommended Sylvester palm trees. Once he started plantings, he asked to change them out for a cheaper palm tree type, because the Sylvester palms were susceptible to bronzing disease, again he recommended them initially. We insisted on the Sylvester palms in the plan because we liked the look and saw them around the neighborhood. He said if we kept them, he would not provide any warranty on them. This was the worst experience I've ever had with a contractor. In the end, I kept asking when the project would be finished. We had a final $500 payment due upon completion, along with a walkthrough, but one day he indicated that there would be additional costs for mulch because he hadn't included enough in his initial bid. I reminded him that he had promised there would be no extra fees and that we would be finished. He called me a horrible, mean person and then walked off the job, never to return. We ended up finishing the job ourselves and had to hire another contractor to fix the sprinkler system he installed at over $1000 because it was set up incorrectly and nothing was getting watered. My advice is simple: don't hire this company--you will regret it.
