We had about a half dozen or so sprinklers that were not working properly. The flow of water was not passing through all of the sprinklers and we had one sprinkler that was leaking and poorly positioned behind a tree. Richardson was handled the sprinklers rapidly. Richardson Irrigation originally installed our three zone reclaimed water irrigation system in 2021 on July 2023, we reached out to Dave, the owner at Richardson in regards to a drip line that needed repairing we were charged, $180 in cash mind you, Dave does not take any credit cards. For him to repair a leak on a drip line, which basically took about 10 minutes. After complaining I was told that he typically charges $160 for the house call and any materials. Being a past customer, I expected some better treatment, in addition, again, no credit cards cash only, my opinion this is a shady business, and if I could give it a zero star rating, I would. read more

If you have an issue with your irrigation system, don't waste your time, just call Dave Richardson. When I noticed a couple of issues with my irrigation system on Saturday morning, I called two local irrigation system repair services. One had both a business and a cell phone listing on its website and I left a message on both. With the other, I simply left a message Saturday morning. When neither had returned my call after a reasonable amount of time, I called Richardson Irrigation. In a short amount of time, he not only returned the call, but agreed to come out Monday. He just left, did a incredible job and the amount charged was more than reasonable. As an aside, it is now 3 PM on Monday afternoon, and I have yet to hear from the other two sprinkler services that were call on Saturday morning. I have used Richardson irrigation since I got here 6 years ago. Up until now I have had no problem. First off let me just say that Richardson irrigation is the most recent experience of crappy costumer service I continually receive so that said. Here's my issue. On Feb 27th I had them come out to do my spring check-up on sprinkler system. I assume everything was done properly. I paid my bill of $200. About a week ago I noticed a big dry patch in my lawn. I went and turned on sprinklers to check and one was just pouring out. Two others weren't getting enough pressure to work due to broken spigot. I called RI. (Why is it that everyone you call sounds like they hate their job.) On Friday, I'm assuming it was Dave the owner I spoke to. I told him what was wrong. He said that it was probably a mower guy that ran over the spigot. He said he'd try to make it out that day but if not the next. I asked him to please call because I have dogs to put in. Next day, Saturday (and yes I thought that was weird they worked in a Sat.) No call. Today, Monday, late in the afternoon I got s call saying they were on their way. The spigot was the problem. They replaced it and told me he'd just do a walk around to make sure they were all ok. I didn't think that was necessary but none the less he did it. Now here's my issue. $130 dollars later I asked what that breakdown was. I was expecting like maybe $50 on the high side....nope, $115 dollars for service call which took all of 20 mins. And $15 for the spigot. I JUST HAD THIS DONE A MONTH AGO!! I think the guy felt bad because he knew this was absurd and decided to do a walk around to justify the $115. I actually kind of felt bad for him. He said I could call dave and maybe I could get competed for some of this. Oh, yeah, it did look like mower guy probably ran over this and I could oask the mower guy to pay for it since it was his fault. What's the likely hood that will go well. "Oh, mower guy, you owe me $130 for a broken spigot." Don't see THIS happening. Left a message for Dave to call me back. We'll see. Picture of expensive broken spigot. read more
