They did not acknowledge that a new roof had been newly installed by an engineer just three months prior with all the county permits and inspections intact. They told the 'Buyer' that the total roof needed to be replaced and that it still had layers of the old roof underneath. They failed to recognize that the entire previous roofing materials had been removed and the new roofing materials were installed according to code. They chose not to tell the owners of their findings. Because of this 'inspection,' the Buyer walked and did not follow through with the sales contract. And, Aztec Roofing has now lost out on any business they thought they would get because of their declarations. Two other roofers who came to inspect found a couple of locations where a nail was visible and there needed to be additional sticking material in one area. By disclosing this to the owner, the repair was able to be done in an efficient and expedient manner.

*Never saw him after initial estimate meeting. *I couldn't…read morecommunicate with workers due my inability to speak their language. *He sent a 4" roof vent ( for shingle roof) instead of a 6" roof vent ( for tile roof) so the workers just cut off the tiles so it would fit. That resulted in water above the vent to run into the attic. *They did a tear off and much of the debris fell into flower beds and killed several plants. *For weeks after completion nails were found in the lawn, resulting in three flat tires for my lawn maintenance man's tractor. *Martineau refused to go on the roof until after final inspection. There were problems I wanted to show him. *I talked to the inspector and showed him my concerns. This resulted in a one month delay, as the roof failed inspection three different times. *The material used as tucking did not match the tile. Each batch they made was a different color. The whole look of the roof ended up looking like a patchwork. *I did not approve of the owners language. *He refused to compensate my lawn maintenance man for tire replacement. * I would never wish to use DR Martineau for any type of work.
