I was very disappointed. I'd researched Dr. Miles before, she generally received positive reviews…read morefrom other patients. She walked in the exam room said, 'Hello. Dr. Miles. What seems to be the problem?" I said, "Good morning, my name, how are you?"... "What brings you in today, Mrs. __?". She hadn't even made eye contact with me yet as she immediately went to the computer. When she finally looked at me, it was with impatience. I began explaining why I came in. She interrupted me and asked her question again, I guess I wasn't going fast enough. To be honest, my feelings were hurt by this point and I'd already made up in my mind that I would be seeing another professional for podiatry issues. I remained for the duration of the appointment as I had already paid my copay. I won't subject myself to her unwarranted maltreatment again, however. She began examining my foot. I explained my big toenail had fallen off. She asked if I'd polished the skin after the toenail fell off. I said no, that is the polish that was on when the toenail fell off. She asked the same question again. I assumed I didn't understand so I asked what do you mean. She very rudely restated the question louder. Now I was mad. I curtly said, "Why would I do that?" She looked shocked and all of a sudden found her manners. She began explaining things that she'd previously just brushed past. She attempted to joke and call me 'girl' in a friendly way. She attempted to improve the interaction when she was treated with the same rudeness she was giving but the damage had been done. My main problem is through all of that and me explaining again that the toenail was already painted, it wasn't addressed. She quickly declared that it was skin, I can feel it and tell that it is pieces of toenail remaining on the toe bed. For EVERY SINGLE QUESTION I'd asked about the toe, her response was, "It will grow back", My concern isn't whether or not it will grow back but what to do about the pieces that remain that aren't attached to the new toenail. I didn't trust her. So I didn't continue asking questions as I didn't feel she had any interest in providing care to me. I'll be seeking an opinion from another facility. We all have bad days, and maybe I caught her on a bad day. I hope that was the case. Either way, I'd hoped for better from a fellow sister.

I am living of a fixed income and on every visit I have told them Please DONT do ANYTHING THAT WILL COST ME OUT OF POCKET !!! I have plantar fasciitis and was charged for a ankle brace , that I told him I didn't think was necessary to get because I believe I already had one at home that he had given to me before. His response was let's put this one on , the insurance will pay for it and if you have one at home now you will have two, and I could use to put on the other foot. The brace did not help, it is design for the ankle and not plantar fasciitis. On two different other occasions I received one steroid shot and they didn't work . I spoke to Medicare and according to them I am not to be charged any co-pay on the QMB, and I was charged a portion for that as well. I followed his instructions and the problem still exist my foot is not better , I then made another appointment to see if I can get a prescription for ibuprofen to alleviate some of the inflammatory information in my foot . The appointment was set for 10:30 AM, I sat in the waiting area for an hour and 30 minutes and still had not been seen by the doctor so I left. The person that works in billing is FLIP and refused to speak to the doctor OR give out her managers name about the billing issues ... I have always made it clear DO NOT give me any services that will cost me OUT OF POCKET because I simply don't have it .I am never going back

This place provided the absolute WORST experience…read more First let me tell you how their currently setup for handicap patients is. It's a ramp on the side door (a heavy windowless black door at that) that is difficult to open and hold on to someone in a wheelchair at the same time then no one from the office staff is willing to get off their lazy, trifling behinds to come assist a patient in a wheelchair trying to get in. My mom has trouble walking so requires a wheelchair 98% of the time. Well the day of my mom's appointment it was raining that morning so I asked one of the ladies in the office if she could assist me with getting my mom in. Her response "I don't want to get wet and I don't have an umbrella". I told her I have an umbrella if you like you can use it but just help me. She went back into the office then came back and said "we're not supposed to be touching the patients". I told her you don't have to touch her just hold the door open while I get her in, I was still told no. So I went out to try to get my mom in on my own but was having major trouble due to it being wet and slippery, plus trying to hold on to my moms wheelchair while trying to get and hold the door open. I called the office staff again to ask if someone else could just come and hold the door but was hung up on. After a few minutes of fighting to get in with no assistance I realized any doctor that employs just any pathetic, selfish, uncaring trash off the streets wasn't worth the efforts and left. The fact that these types of individuals are working in the healthcare field hurts me because it shows it has officially been taken over by uncaring guttersnipes looking to make a quick buck with no regards for the folks they should be caring for. I will not be returning to this office not for my mother or myself and I would advise others to avoid this place also because as far as office staff it is a pit stop for all low level, foul creatures looking for a pay check with no care for the patients, just the absolute WORST!!!!!.

No other patient was in the office but she proceeds to hold an entire conversation on the phone ignoring me. When she was done with her conversation on the phone. I told her I was here for a 2:15 pm appointment referred by the Veterans Affairs Community Care for this appointment. She was very rude and nasty towards me, fussing at me about how the VA has referred patients here and she hasn't got paid yet from those patients, that's definitely information I did not need to know, something she as a professional should take up with the billing office. Also, it's very rude not to acknowledge patients/customers as they come into your place of business. I'm a professional as is she and no one should be talked to in a disrespectful manner. As a veteran seeking medical treatment I should have been treated better. In the end I excused myself from the building and called Veterans Affairs Community Care to let them know of the situation so that I can see another provider.

Where do I start... My experience with Elizabeth Le was doomed from the first 10 minutes in her…read moreoffice. I had an office visited with Elizabeth Le on October 26, 2022, and it all started with the co-pay. I informed Elizabeth Le that I do not have a co-pay that I met my Out-of-Pocket for the year and she argued with me about it. So, she gets on the phone with my insurance company, and they tell her that I do not have to pay a co-pay. I heard the entire conversation because it was on speaker phone. I found that a little disturbing that my information was being broadcasted throughout her office. Can I say, HIPAA. She ends the call and proceeds to call me to the patient room. I'm looking around and second guessing my decision going to this office. It was not at all what I expected or what you would normally see in a doctor's office. It felt dirty! I should have ended the appointment then and there, but we all know sometimes we just don't do things that way. While she was doing my procedure, I was stating what I wanted done and what I got from her, is "you do that later, you come another time, it will take 15 minutes". At this point, I'm thinking, that doesn't make since, you can do that now. Immediately, I knew this woman was out to trick me for more money. She did, just that! She doesn't complete the procedure and on top of that, I'm walking out with blood dripping from me. That's a huge flag! I pointed it out to her, and her response was, "it stop bleeding in a minute". REALLY! I am walking through your office, dripping blood on your floor. Another HUGE flag. I go to leave because I'm not coming back for another appointment with her. She stops me and tells me I owe her $40, which by the way, is not even my co-pay amount. Here we go again, we are arguing back in forth. I give in and pay the $40 and leave. The reason why I did this is because my insurance will issue me a check back for the $40. I waited for my explanation of benefits to come through with my insurance and low and behold, she doesn't even file my $40 payment with my insurance. So, at this point she has my $40 and the full payment from my insurance company...... I call my insurance and let them know what is going on and they immediately put me on hold to give her a call. My insurance company tells Elizabeth Le to issue me a refund and if I haven't received the refund in at least 30 days to call them back then I can take further steps to file a complaint. Its now March and I still haven't received my money. So, I decided to call Elizabeth Le myself. During the conversation, she proceeds to tell me that she has tried to contact me several times. That's a lie! I told her no she has not and I can pull my phone records to prove that she has not. She then crawfishes out of that and says to me that she doesn't have my mailing address. REALLY! Another lie, you have my address on the paperwork. Furthermore, she says that it will take 30 days or more for me to get my refund through the mail. Really! She also says, "you come pick up" because if she sends the check through the mail, she will have to cancel the check and reissue another check past 30 days. WHAT!!!! At this point I tell her I will be at her office to pick up my $40 so I can be done with this lady. Once I receive my money, I will file complaints. I'm writing this review to help others. Just stay far away, it's not worth it! Please check the EXPLANATION OF BENEFITS from your insurance company. I'm sure I am not the only one she has done this too.
