The price was reasonable and it was a pleasure to chat with him. Due to my own timing, I had dropped it off before my wedding anniversary not at all expecting it to be done in time which was completely fine with me. Dave had said it would be about 10 days, maybe less but he stated he would rather give me a further out date instead just in case and I appreciated that. Fantastic news is I actually got my ring back in time for my anniversary. I am incredibly pleased with the resizing of my ring..it fits perfectly and it is sparkling. The price I was quoted was also very reasonable. Wonderful job to Dave and everyone at Dave's Jewelry & Diamond Exchange. I will gladly be recommending you to everyone and will return in the future. I took my engagement ring into The Golden Butterfly to have it resized as it was just a little small for my fiancé. During inspection the jeweler told me she could not resize the ring due to it not having a karat stamp that all gold needed by law. I was unaware of this but knew that it was genuine gold so I presented the form the ring maker gave me to show it was 14k gold. She still refused and told me "I might want to consider getting my money back" which I still consider to be a very rude comment. After leaving feeling crushed I contacted the ring maker and they were very professional and sent me pictures of how a ring stamp should look and guaranteed me that my ring had did in fact have a karat stamp. I immediately saw how large these stamps are and took out the ring to find out for myself. Low and behold I found the karat stamp immediately. The woman at The Golden Butterfly had magnified lenses during the inspection of the ring and yet she couldn't find the stamp that I found immediately. Furthermore implying that I had purchased a fake ring is just the icing on the cake. I am very displeased with the service I was provided and will not return to The Golden Butterfly.
