It's my BACK and some severely pinches nerves! They figured it out in about 5 minutes and they had it medically confirmed within a week. The whole setup at 909 Fulton is awesome. It's ultra modern, high tech, and efficient. It reminds me of the building in the movie "Men In Black" minus the aliens. Everything seems to run well including: efficient valet services, a beautiful building, concierge staff, fast check-in with RFID tags, professional staff, high tech lab and technical services, and painless scheduling. My only complaint is the Dr. Dahlquist is retiring. I hope that, before he leaves, someone brings him to the genetics and cellular biology department and they make 10 or 12 clones of the doctor before he leaves. -Daddy Maxx Retro

The vet who was assigned to us was new and had to run back and ask her supervisor answers to our questions. Important information got lost in the communications. We told them exactly what we wanted done. She came back and recommended a 5 day hospital stay for $6000. We asked about accessing their financial assistance program and she said that she wouldn't put our names in because she was new and couldn't ethically say that our dog wouldn't die.

Each time I would wait at least a half hour after my appointment time before being seen. Had 2 appointments here (per a referral from my doctor) for extreme muscle fatigue, dizziness, nausea. My doctor was Peter Boardman. I expressed my concerns about serious things like MS and muscular dystrophy (which runs in my family) and he looked at me like I was crazy for thinking those things. Made me feel pretty annoyed. He ordered an MRI and an EMG. The EMG was done at their office while the MRI was at St. John's hospital across Beam. The woman who did my EMG did the shocking part fine, but when it came to putting needles in, she put them in and dug around around so hard to the point where I was wincing so hard in pain, and I have a decent pain tolerance. To this day (nearly 3 weeks after) I still have moderate-extreme pain where the woman dug her needle around in my upper arm. I can't bear any weight on it. Got my EMG results back 15 mins after the test was done and he told me the results before I left the office. Thankfully the MRI was not done there. I had the MRI done a few days after the EMG at St. John's. A few days after that, I received the results of the MRI on healtheast my chart. It said my brain was fine, but I had some lesions near my salivary glands that I could've used some explaining from the neuro doctor. Peter Boardman did not call me until over 3 weeks after the MRI results. Luckily I had hit my deductible for the year and insurance paid a large amount of my $1,000+ bill from there (which the cost of it is insanity). Needless to say I would not go back here even if someone paid me. Long wait times before your appointment, place is pretty run down especially the waiting room and chairs, staff seems to not know what they're doing. The front desk woman couldn't even decipher my which insurance company was on my insurance card which was a bit laughable but pretty worrying. If I ever have to go to a neuro again I will steer clear of this place.

When I finally was able to get in with another neurologist he said the abnormal MRI didn't mean anything, he would not have ordered all the unnecessary tests Wolters wanted me to have. Unfortunately they cater to the egos of their neurologists and let them get away with treating their patients horribly. Dr. Zubkov is a great example. If you're 4 minutes late he'll make you reschedule (even if you've waited 6 months to see him and you're late because you rushed from a family emergency in order to see him), he doesn't bother to read his patient's medical notes, makes arrogant and false claims, he made me race to get a surgery to remove a medical device during the pandemic (which was incredibly difficult to get done) because he felt that I was in the middle of a potential medical emergency and then, when he found out that I don't eat the foods that he thinks I should eat (I have gastroparesis and have very few foods that I can tolerate) he told me that until I get my gastroparesis "cured" (it isn't curable) that he couldn't help me and dropped me as a patient. I'm pretty sure that his real aim was to make me follow his diet in order to lose weight in spite of the fact that I was there for something unrelated. Oh and he dropped me before he tested me for EDS which was one of the main goals of the appointment. He's rude, nasty, obsessed with trying to get his patients to follow an extreme and expensive diet and when they refuse to follow it, he drops them. People have been complaining about him for years but they keep him on. I can't respect a company that would continue to employ someone like him and would recommend staying far away from them.

We have had good doctors helping him until he moved to a Saint Paul. Then it became difficult to find a doctor who understood and knew at least something about the illness. It took us a while, but we did find an excellent dr who is connected to Noran. Prior to him, the first doctor we saw there didn't seem to care. Then we were assigned to a nurse practitioner who was was unqualified to deal with the illness. After complaining, we were finally given an excellent doctor who DOES know about the illness and cares a lot. . Our son has been stable but between 2019 and 2020 serious flare ups started occurring. Our doctor kept at it and prescribed, among many other medications, IVIG. Thus our son needed to go to the Lake Elmo clinic for IVs. When Covid hit, and he came to live with us in Wisconsin. He was able to get his IV treatment at a local hospital in Milwaukee. His experience for over a year and half there was wonderful. He was treated kindly and with respect. Then he returned to Minnesota and back to Noran. Things changed for him. We were told that he was a "hard stick" and that he should go somewhere else. Well, he can't drive at this moment and he had transportation via relatives. It was working well for him. But at the next appointment, it was difficult finding a vein and we were told the clinic has no ultra sound to find one and that equipment is too expensive, they aren't trained to run it anyway, and storage would be an issue for it. So we were told to basically go away. Really? Too expensive? So is their fancy waiting room with its big fireplace! As for storage, it's a small piece of equipment that fits on a cart. As for training, if a clinic claims to be a comprehensive infusion center it should have the right equipment and training to serve a customer! We don't care about snacks, a comfy chair, games, television, etc., while getting an infusion! And The staff from the front desk on is rude (not the first time we ran into this). We, of course found him a different infusion center and his good doctor is connected to it, but the transportation issue has become more challenging and this shouldn't be. As clinics and hospitals are getting fancier and fancier, they are missing what a patient really and truly needs, and Noran is no exception.

Everyone I interacted with from the person on the phone, the people who checked me in for my appointments, to my physical therapist Kyle, Dr. Varun and all the nurses I met, were the most welcome, kind, and supportive people I have ever met. They made every appointment impactful for my health. I went 2-3 times a week for a couple of months before I moved for a job. When I told everyone that I was moving, they went out of their way to make sure I could get in for as many physical therapy sessions as possible with Kyle and Dr. Varun did everything in her power to help me manage my pain. I've had TMJ for as long as I can remember. I've tried different types of night guards, acupuncture, chiropractic care, and none of these gave me anywhere near as much sustained relief than going to MN Head & Neck Pain Clinic. Kyle created a therapy plan for me that would give me the most relief and was flexible for my life. Dr. Varun expedited my care so I could try trigger point injections. They changed my life and gave me the first sustainable relief I have ever experienced. I wish I had found MN Head and Neck Pain Clinic sooner. As my upcoming move got closer, every time I went in for an appointment, everyone asked me how I was doing, gave me endless kindness and words of encouragement and support. I have never felt so care for by such high-level professionals. The last day I saw Dr. Varun, I was getting nervous about my move, and she spent extra time with me to let me talk about my fears of moving and starting over. She was so encouraging and supportive and kept saying how strong and brave I was for moving. I will be forever grateful for Dr. Varun's compassion, kindness, and care. The time I had with MN Head and Neck Pain Clinic changed my life both physically and emotionally. Even though I couldn't take them with, everyone kept reminded me that they will always be there and willing to help.
