After I got her home, I called and asked about it because she was in an extreme amount of pain. They said the vet doesn't give pain medicine for that surgery. That vet has since retired. I then was fortunate enough to get into Haskell Valley. I took my new kitten there to get spayed, and was relieved to hear that she had been given pain medicine after the surgery. She has been sleeping a lot but has not shown any signs of real discomfort. Haskell Valley really does care not only about your fur babies, but about your comfort level too. They want you to know that you are part of the process. I can't think of a clinic that goes above and beyond to the level that this one does, highly recommended.

Our observations also indicated possible sepsis. He was lethargic, dry heaving and becoming worse by the minute. Minimaly, they should have started IV antibiotics and fluids for his electrolytes immediately. Instead, even when support items were repeatedly asked about, they left him alone in a strange room with no treatment or family getting steadily worse.
