They talked down to us as if we were the only ones to struggle with keeping teeth clean. I would think that would be a common issue among children and thus be dealt with in a caring and understanding manner. However, that was not the case. The hygienist actually told my 7 year old that he had calculus on his teeth. He responded with, "What even is that?" As a pediatric medical professional myself, I couldn't believe the lack of understanding of the staff to talk to patients on a level that they don't understand. After finding another pedantic dentist, I couldn't believe the difference in how we were treated compared to our years at this practice. Making the move to a new dentist was a decision I don't regret!
