They gave me 1 stretching brace from Ovation Medical and I bought the recommended heel lifting insoles. I went back for my follow up today to a whopping $888 bill!! They charged me for 2 braces (I only got 1), and said my insurance doesn't cover things. Well, this was a follow up since I am having no more pain and am back to running. They wouldn't let me see the doc till I paid. I told them I am going to take it up with my insurance because this is highway robbery. I paid just a portion of the bill and demanded that the 2nd brace be taken off my charges and the bill adjusted accordingly. The print out they gave me of the charges does not reflect this and I will be taking it up with my insurance company. They also claimed it was so high because my deductible for the year has not been met, however that is not the case as I just got off the phone yesterday with my insurance company about it and some back charges they made me and confirmed it has. But that isn't even the half of it. The brace they gave me is the real issue. The $405 charge PER BRACE made me super suspicious. $810 for 2 braces that I know didn't cost that much. Many runners suffer from these issues and use these braces for long run recovery and they are NOT paying that kind of money. So I looked it up online. The posterior night split they sold me - $49 with free shipping on Amazon!!!! RIGHT FROM THE MANUFACTUER! Some places sell it for as little as $36! You have got to be kidding me! What a total scam! This is insurance fraud if you ask me. That is a 626.5% mark up per brace!! I will not nor would I ever recommend this group to anyone. If you do go, get a listing of charges UPFRONT! Total scammers.

I was hopeful that being fitted with a custom orthotic would help with the bunion on my left foot…read more After a year, the bunion is worse and wearing the orthotic in most of my athletic shoes causes pain. When I got the orthotic I was told It could be adjusted once at no cost. I wasn't told that I would be charged for an office visit when taking the orthotic in to leave for the adjustment. So......after spending $600.00 I now am using a $50.00 orthotic purchased from Amazon and am able to wear my shoes again. Disappointing experience. Dr. Kostakas is pleasant and explains things well but his recommendation didn't work for me.

I have endured 2 revision surgeries by an orthopedic surgeon but it is still extremely painful to walk and will require another specialist and more surgeries. He altered the mechanics of my foot, which has subsequently caused damage to other parts of my foot. I have nerve damage and constant pain. He didn't perform the correct procedure and then proceeded to destroy what was my normal foot. It was a joint issue and could have been addressed with cortisone shots! My biggest annoyance when visiting physicians is if I schedule an appointment at 9 but then end up sitting in a room without seeing anyone for an extended period of time. I made an appt over 30 days in advance on this group's website tool. The website features medical pedicures and safety. (I came away with the impression that they were providing waterless pedicures, which apparently is not the case.) The positive reviews that I looked at which spoke to the "dry pedicures" were apparently dated. The entire situation could have easily been avoided with competent front office processing, and respect for a client/patient's time. Everything could have been managed around...but the time factor was a tipping point. I ended up leaving their office at almost the same time that my pedicure was supposed to be ending. Thank you.

My experience started off as A++ when I first saw Dr. Morris in March of 2025. I had made an…read moreappointment due to severe pain in the arch of my left foot. He diagnosed me with Tendonitis and gave me a shot , I assume was cortisone, that relieved my pain within a day. I had a follow-up appointment in April. During that visit I asked about some procedures I had read about on his site that might help with my peripheral neuropathy. He said he would check with my insurance company and stated there was a new procedure coming out in late May or early June he thought would be good for me. My next appointment was in June. I asked if he had in fact checked with my insurance company regarding coverage, He replied yes it was covered but the new product had been released, however, he started it was released on the west coast and it would take several weeks for it to get to him on the east coast. This sounded a little strange to me but I let it slide. He wrote me a 1 month Rx for Lyrica to replace my gabapentin, to try and scheduled a follow up for July. When I arrived for my July appointment I was handed a container with a creams I was to lightly rub on my feet at bedtime which was the new procedure. I was also given a 3 month RX for Lyrica as I had depleted my trial Rx. i was charged $30.00 for the cream and told it wasn't covered under insurance. I was also billed for my office visit copay which I declined to pay as my insurance has a $900 out of pocket maximum and I had met it for the year. I was handed a 4 or page printout of UHC regulations and while it did show a copay, within the paperwork it also stated my yearly deductible and the $900 out of pocket rule, thus being a printout of their complete yearly stipulations. I was told to go home and call UHC where they would tell me I did owe a copay. From here all went downhill! I did call UHC and they said what had been given me at the office was a copy of their general insurance stipulations and I was correct, I owed no further copays for 2025 since I had met my $900 out of pocket maximum. I took my Rx to WalMart to get it filled and was told Dr. Morris's license was no good and the other person, Dr. Whitmore, on the Rx needed to wright the Rx as their license was good. I tried to call office and left messages but got no reply. Finally, I drove to office 30 minutes before closing only to find it totally locked up, I again drove to office the following day and still found the office locked up with no notification as to why they were closed. I also found by examining the bottle of cream that the products home address was, in fact, identical to Dr, Morris's office address. That cream never 1st shipped to the west coast and had to take time to travel across the country to reach its place of production...that was a false statement to a patient. To this day they have never replied to any of my phone or text messages and they never called to cancel the follow up appointment they made for me in late October. I do now note that they now state, "WE ARE A CONCIERGE / DIRECT PAY PRACTICE AND DO NOT ACCEPT INSURANCE . OFFICE VISITS ARE $85 AND CAN BE BOOKED HERE ON OUR SITE FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE! I could never recommend Doctors who lie about their own product and shut out current patients the way they did.

OUCH! He was the only doctor I met with who actually took my foot into his hands while looking at the x-ray: he felt it, moved it around, noting the looseness of the ankle, ("You sprained it a lot as a kid ~ you must've been a roller skater or ice-skater, huh?" he said) the bones within it and how they'd moved without the muscles to hold them in place. He told me the x-rays he'd just taken showed some arthritis, and asked me exactly WHERE the pain was the worst, WHEN did it get bad, and HOW bad was it? He explained that this type of arthritis comes from having a very similar injury to the one I was healing from now, but at a much younger age. That triggered a memory for me back 50-some years as a pre-teen, when my cousin's largest horse stepped fully on top of that same foot, causing that same pain, which I then remember resulting in limping that lasted for months. He told me why the bunions formed, both the bunion beneath the Big Toe and the "bunionette" beneath the baby toe. The previous surgeon had not mentioned that one AT ALL! He also explained how the tendon that connects to the second toe was being pulled too tightly by the bones as they separated, and that's what was causing it to curl into what is called a hammer toe, which he said he could ALSO fix. This foot has caused me to need to go in for chiropractic adjustments weekly, if not more often, due to the amount of pain I'm in from my body getting so out of alignment trying to navigate throughout the day. Because I also had been hit by a car and had the left knee broken when the bumper hit it at age 25, the foot problem exacerbated the knee issue to the point where I can only take steps one at a time, and need help getting in and out of chairs, and FORGET about holding anything while trying to stand up! My hips constantly out of joint and my sacral nerve pinched: I COULD HARDLY WAIT for surgery! I cancelled with the other guy and scheduled With Dr Lance Silverman INSTEAD! I had my surgery November 4th, and today is December 15th. I've been in to his offices for 3 post-op appointments, and have one more to go. My recovery was pretty painless! They did a pain block from the knee down that lasted the first 24 to 48 hours; it was difficult to discern exactly when the numbness left, but I only ever took half-pills of the pain meds provided, just before sleeping so I wouldn't wake up in pain. I was prescribed one of those cool knee scooters to tool around with for shopping, and it was pretty fun in the parking lots, too! After the first week, a big velcro-strapped walking boot (weight on heel only} was provided, which made getting around the house much easier. A smaller boot at the 3rd appt was appreciated then, too. Keeping my leg and foot elevated whenever not actually on the ground seems to be the key towards keeping the inflammation and swelling minimized on the entire foot, but especially the tall 2nd toe, which did get the hammertoe correction procedure done on the tendon attached to it. That toe is twice the size it used to be, and looks like a little sumo wrestler. So Far, SO GOOD! This Doctor knows his field of practice Well! I will update more once I've finished recovering

DONT GO HERE! silly me, I went to the same building as 25 years before to get an ingrown toenail…read moretaken out. I was told THAT doctor is no longer there. I should've tracked THAT doctor down, driven anywhere to have my nail done by them again, no matter what. I was like OK I'll go ahead and make an appointment. Really wished I hadn't. so I found it odd that they tried to sell me an expensive insole and some other product on my first visit. Cash grab. He's also trying to sell me hard on the fact that if I don't do the additional chemicals that the ingrown will come back. Which also meant a longer recovery. Even if that's the case it won't come back right away. I've had this procedure done before and I got to watch them do it. Not this time. He put a curtain up so I couldn't watch what he was doing. I told him I wasn't squeamish and I was fine and I'd love to watch. He says he does it for everyone. Now I know why. You can't watch him screw it up. The last doctor sprayed my toe numbed my toe, took a scalpel, sliced on both sides, pulled out the ingrowns put some ointment on bandaged me up and told me everything would be good and it was. As for this one, you couldn't be further from the truth. firstly, he didn't numb my toe enough. That's always fun. Secondly, they were a lot of instruments laying out on the counter. He was using on my foot. He was digging around a lot. I thought it was odd that this wasn't seamless. I was getting concerned during the procedure. I couldn't even tell what my toe look like after procedure before he bandaged it. He also told me I could change the bandage out if it bled through. I might blood through? I never got a chance to look at it. Until I got home the next day. I was really concerned then turns out for good reason. At the time of making my original appointment, I found out they had a medical pedicurist. I asked if I could make an appointment. She only comes in certain times I said, but my toe will still be bandaged up. Is that going to be OK? They said yes. I went ahead and went forward a week after my procedure and within a week I had an infected toe. Why would you tell somebody after getting a procedure and still in recovery, that it would be OK to get a pedicure. So either I got it from Dr. light or either I got it from the pedicurist. I kept having to come back in because my toe was looking really really ratchet and painful. now fast forward. On one of my last visits, he told me that I might have to come back and have him redo the whole thing. I'm like why? I can't afford this I can't afford the recovery time I work on my feet. Why would I have to go through this again. it's his business so bad that he does this on purpose. This is how he makes his money. I don't know what he did to my toe. He wouldn't let me watch. This is a fairly simple procedure. That's why it's done in a doctors office and not Hosp. . Please do yourself a favor. Don't go to the pedicurist. I spent 50 bucks for five minutes of an infection. It's nothing special. Lousy foot rub. She spends 30 seconds doing that and yeah it's not worth it. To this day, I still feel like there are pieces of nail embedded in the sides of my skin. Either he did not do a clean cut and get it all out where it's jagged and pushing into my skin. How would I know he didn't let me watch. either he's that bad or he wanted me to come back and have it redone The funny part is that the right side wasn't hurting until after he did the procedure on that side. He could've just done the left side where I was feeling the pain. But No now he screwed me up for life I cover my toe and silicone before I go to work, so nothing presses in. I'm really hoping I can live with this. I may have to go to another podiatrist and find out exactly what this guy did to me and see if it can be fixed. Now on both sides of my toe there is material irritating the sides of my skin. When I saw you, it only hurt on the left. Now they hurt on both sides and that has been from day one of recovery. And that is a problem if I come to you to get rid of the pain and what you do to me causes more pain than when I started.
