Thanks to Mr. Sims the KY expungement laws were changed and my 1970s misdemeanor conviction became…read moreeligible for expungement. With Mr. Sims help my record was expunged in a very timely manner. However, the State did not do its job completely and it was discovered months later that my record was still showing up during NICS and FBI checks. Apparently someone in KY did not follow up to make sure my record was expunged even though I got the papers from KY saying my record was expunged. When I brought this to Mr. Sims' attention, he jumped right in and started the ball rolling to make sure my expungement was complete, on the local, state, and federal FBI/NICS levels. You could not ask for better service, especially for the low fee he charges. If you have a criminal record, no matter how minor, don't let it hang over your head for 50 years like I did. The laws have changed and you may now be eligible to have your record expunged and that millstone around your neck removed. And Mr. Sims is the man to do it. Thank you Mr. Sims.

Kim was, and continues to be, an absolute pleasure to work with. Her knowledge is extensive and she…read morehas consistently made me feel like I'm her only client, which I know isn't true. I get so much more time with my daughter now and it's all thanks to her. She has never pressured me one way or another, and I have nothing but the utmost respect for her mastery of the craft. I will be recommending her services to anyone who will listen.

My experience with Kim started out great. It however went really bad really fast. I could not…read morepossibly recommend Kim as an attorney. Kim became frustrated with me wanting answers to questions I had about my case and refused to return my calls in a timely manner. Sometimes it would take her over a week to call me back even after I left many messages for her. I was paying her $250 an hour and I gave her $2500 retainer. I'm pretty sure I deserved her attention or at least for her to answer my calls and discuss my concerns with me. When she did finally call me back she was short and very condescending towards me. Very unprofessional. Kim did not do what she told me she was going to do in court and she really didn't stand up for me at all. She mostly made agreements with the other attorney and judge without me having any input at all and she seemed too busy and rushed after hearings to bother explaining to me what happened. I told her I was unhappy with the information I had been receiving from her and with her level of communication. Kim then sent me an email telling me she decided to quit representing, me mid-case. UNREAL!!!! This case is about me protecting my son from a violent addict and repeat domestic violence and assault offender and Kim decided to leave me on my own knowing I could not afford to get started with another attorney. I basically begged her to stay with me and she refused. Kim is a smart and a capable attorney. If Kim wouldn't let her personal feelings about me get in the way (this should be about protecting a beautiful 6 year old boy) and if she actually cared about me as client who is desperately concerned for my son's safety she would have been a great attorney. THIS IS A SHAME!!!! Very unprofessional and Im very disappointed.
