They were impacted, little infected, one of them passed through the nerve and the other was very close, I was scared but thank God I was in good hands. Thanks to Dr. Shadi the surgery went very well, the recovery was good and positive, I have to say when you are in good hands is not as painful or bad as looks like :) I have my braces on and I can be more happy about it, he's amazing!!! 100% recommend if you want a qualified professional taking care of your mouth.

I immediately saw my general dentist, who recommended that the tooth be extracted and replaced with an implant. As you can imagine, I was extremely nervous and anxious about the idea of oral surgery. I reached out to Dr. Sam Vahedi's office, and from the very first interaction, they were incredibly accommodating and professional. They understood the urgency of my situation and scheduled me promptly, which immediately helped put me at ease. The moment I walked into the office and met Dr. Vahedi, I felt calm and reassured. He has a very confident yet kind demeanor that instantly builds trust. They performed a CT scan, and Dr. Vahedi took the time to thoroughly explain exactly what was going on and what the plan would be. He explained that the first step would be extracting the broken tooth, which had three roots. During the procedure, he carefully numbed the area. There was only minimal discomfort with the numbing, and after that, I truly did not feel any pain at all. I could feel some pressure and hear some crunching, but there was absolutely no pain. Throughout the entire process, I felt completely confident in Dr. Vahedi's technical expertise and knowledge. It was clear that I was in very capable hands, and sure enough, he did a magnificent job. His assistant, Heidi, was also wonderful--very attentive, reassuring, and kind. I was so relaxed during the procedure that they actually thought I had fallen asleep! That alone speaks volumes about how comfortable and stress-free the experience was. I will be returning in several months for the next steps of my implant process, and I am extremely grateful that Dr. Sam Vahedi is my oral surgeon. If anyone ever asks me who they should see for oral surgery, extractions, or implants, I will unconditionally and enthusiastically recommend Dr. Vahedi. An outstanding experience from start to finish.

This was my first time visiting this dental office, and my overall first impression was amazing! The office is clean, modern, and welcoming, and the receptionists at the front desk were incredibly patient and friendly. The wait time was also very reasonable, which I really appreciate because that isn't always the case at dental offices. My dental hygienist for this visit was Xochitl, and she was SO knowledgeable. I learned so much from her about proper dental care, and she even pointed out something I didn't realize I had. She gave me so many helpful tips and tricks for TMJ, enamel care, and water flossing. She was also super funny and relatable, which made the whole experience feel comfortable and enjoyable. Dr. Patel conducted my exam, and she was extremely thorough and professional. I could genuinely tell that she took the time to carefully assess my dental health rather than rushing through the appointment. She explained everything clearly and gave me a detailed treatment plan, which left me feeling confident that I'm in good hands. They even offered to sanitize and clean my night guards as a courtesy! I also loved learning that this is a women-owned practice. There was something really special about the level of care and attention I received, and I could genuinely feel the difference in the quality of care. Everyone took their time, listened, and made me feel like my dental health was truly a priority. I'm genuinely so excited to come back. Thank you to the entire team for making what can sometimes be an intimidating experience feel so easy, thorough, and welcoming!

It's super modern, beautifully run, and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful from the moment you walk in. The hygienists are wonderful -- so knowledgeable and thorough. They really take their time explaining everything so you leave with a clear understanding of how to best care for your teeth. Dr. Homyak is an absolute rock star. She is kind, positive, supportive, and incredibly communicative, with a calm and thoughtful presence that immediately puts you at ease. If you're someone who feels nervous about going to the dentist, this is the place to go. Her approach is truly virtually painless. She uses advanced techniques and thoughtful methods so you're completely comfortable throughout the entire process, even before any injections. It's honestly amazing. I actually go to my appointments ready to relax, which sounds crazy to say about a dental visit, but it's true. They have blankets, a calming environment, and everything is intentionally set up to make you feel comfortable and cared for. You never feel rushed or anxious. The practice also offers the best in modern dentistry, including same day crowns and inlays, and they bring in an outstanding specialist for root canals. Everyone is gentle, attentive, and truly cares about your comfort. My whole family now goes to Dr. Homyak, and I feel so grateful that we found her. I always leave happy and well taken care of. Five stars all the way.

From the moment I contacted the office, he was incredibly responsive, professional, and genuinely caring. What stood out most was the personal attention he provided. In a stressful situation, he made me feel like a priority and took the time to explain everything clearly while ensuring I received the care I needed as quickly as possible. His expertise and calm, reassuring manner immediately put me at ease. It's rare these days to find a specialist who combines such exceptional clinical skill with such a high level of personal service. I am extremely grateful for the help he provided and would recommend Dr. Aalam without hesitation to anyone in need of periodontal or implant care. Thank you, Dr. Aalam, for your professionalism, responsiveness, and kindness. It made all the difference.

Dr. Aalam has responded saying that "We take feedback from our patients' experience seriously..."…read more And concludes that he would have been happy to discuss the matter at the time. That completely misrepresents the facts. He could have easily called me the next day and cleared the air. I am not interested in publicly hurting a man's career. But this has been on my mind, that if he hurts someone, I will feel guilty that I did not share this information. NOTE THAT HE DOES NOT ACTUALLY DENY HIS YELLING AND SCREAMING. Instead, he says "Yelling or inappropriate communication of any kind does not align with the environment we strive to provide for our patients and team members." Of course, it does not align with an environment that anyone would "strive to provide." No professional office would openly "strive to provide "an environment where a customer/patient is treated like that. It happened. There was at least one staff member who witnessed it. Plus the screaming was so loud, people in the lobby could have easily heard it. The man completely lost control. I raised the concerns in person at the time. His response is that the concerns should have been raised at the time. They were raised at the time. I quietly raised the issue that I have already signed a contract and put down a deposit. He went into a screaming rage. Really screaming. This is hardly someone who is happy to discuss any issues. There were witnesses, at least one other staff member in the room. Then he left the room and came back minutes later, screaming again. Even with a break, he could not get under control. He came back and showed me a ridiculous interpretation that the contract said all services must be completed in 30 days. (Of course, it really said that I had 30 days to accept the contract. ) I pointed out that the services could never be completed in 30 days. He responded "But you never made a deposit". His own records show that I had made a deposit immediately. This is not a guy who is happy to discuss any issues. It is a man out of control. There was another issue. A faulty CT scan, which he told me was a reason for a delay. Delays is his big thing. So I went to UCLA Health to get another CT scan. His CT scan was wrong. I was charged approximately $250 for an incorrect CT scan. But mistakes like that are possible and understandable. It's the losing of his temper that is why I am writing this review. There were other people in the office that day. They all saw it. A man who can lose control like that must have done it other times. My concern is that anesthesia is part of his treatment. That is a serious health risk. A man who can lose his tempter...if that happens during anesthesia, you're in serious trouble. Again, I don't want to mess with a man's profession. But I would feel guilty if he hurt someone, and I had not shared this information. He should have calmed down and contacted me and this could have been cleared up.

I developed an extremely painful, very swollen, pus-filled dental abscess late last month, and called Fuller Smiles to see if they could have me come in that day to have it get evaluated or drained. I was told by the receptionist that no one could see me same day, and since it was a Friday I could check back on Monday. The abscess was swollen and painful and if left untreated can cause more infection, loss of the tooth, and sepsis, and I pointedly asked the receptionist so I can't be seen even if it's an abscess and a dental emergency? To which the receptionist replied no and asked me to check back three days later when they're open again on Monday. Of course, I found a different facility and got it drained that day and was confirmed by the other dentist of the abscess. I then went back to this Fuller Smiles a few days later to get it evaluated by Dr. Katie, my usual dentist, and she did a CT scan for me and referred me to an endodontist. I called the receptionist at Fuller Smiles today and asked if the results of my CT scan could be sent to the endodontist or to myself to show the endodontist so they could get a complete picture of what's going on. The receptionist then tried to tell me I didn't get a CT scan done, when I know I did because I was literally in the machine getting it done a few weeks ago. I then told her the date of the test and she found the record but then told me she couldn't send it over to me because of software issues, even though it is my legal right to get a copy of my imaging tests. I asked her how the endodontist would be able to evaluate me then without having my test results and she basically told me to get another repeat CT scan done there, without any regard to any unnecessary radiation exposure that would mean or if insurance would cover it. Overall I thought the dentists here were great, but Jackie at the front desk was very unsympathetic and unhelpful, and I am considering taking my business elsewhere just so I don't have to deal with her anymore.
