My mom was having extensive itching with a persistent rash that was making her life miserable. Dr. Macuzak properly diagnosed her and her rash is now completely gone. My dad had open heart surgery in February 2022, and developed painful keloids on his surgical scar. Dr. Macuzak been diligently working on a comprehensive treatment for him as well and he is feeling much better. What really impresses me about Dr. Macuzak is his compassion and diligence in diagnosing my parents. He took his time and answered all of their questions and concerns, never making them feel rushed. Unfortunately this is not very common anymore as many physicians just rush in and rush out without really taking the time to listen to patients. I asked a receptionist for one of the other doctors what happened to him, and she said he closed the office some time ago. I showed her the reminder text from this morning and she said "Oh, his system is still sending out automated reminders" (!!!!). I called his phone number and a machine still answered and took a message, but I don't expect any callback. Why "Office Experience" is colored green above with no way to change it is a mystery to me. Don't believe it! TOTALLY UNETHICAL TO LEAVE AUTOMATED REMINDERS RUNNING, CLOSE UP AND SKIP TOWN WITHOUT BOTHERING TO NOTIFY SCHEDULED PATIENTS!

As a man, I admit to having had a bit of anxiety about allowing a woman to examine my skin, but I took my wife's advice and made an appointment with Sandy. There was nothing to be anxious about. She and her assistant were quick and professional, in addition to being personable and of good humor. I was told to undress, could leave my underwear on, and don a hospital gown. Sandy did the body scan, answered my questions, and painlessly removed a benign mole that had been bothering me. I plan to go back for another checkup next year, and I recommend Sandy.

My problem is that I had to wait nearly 45 minutes to be seen--other people came in after me and were seen before me. And THAT would actually have been ok if someone would have taken the time to say something, like "we're really sorry for the wait but we're understaffed today", or "we'll get to you as soon as we can, we're swamped today". Anything. Instead, I was just ignored. Everyone seemed fine with me rotting in the waiting room. This is really disrespectful of my time--yes, a big percentage of the patients here are older and as such many are retired, and I suspect they might not mind, but I still work and I needed to get back. And anyway, even if I didn't work this still wouldn't be ok. The idea that "you have nowhere to be, old person, so you can just wait" is not right.
