When he began on Yelp reviews, most of the reviews were from his family members pretending to be customers, thus giving him a huge bravado, tricking the public into believing he was on the up and up. He is a low life con in my opinion. I strongly suggest NEVER hiring him from personal experience. He tore up my home, didn't follow code and wouldn't remedy it, but he took my money and caused us more burdens to fix all the damage he did! I feel he prices his work according to your status, gender, what kind of home you have, etc. and takes advantage of unsuspecting folks, even with his "smooth talk" manipulation. He's so ruthless, he even brought his young grandson to crawl under my home to pull wires for him!! The poor kid was scared, but he made him do it, even though I objected! Nice grandfather, huh? Need more? Contact Cullman Electric CEO. They've had issues with him, yet for some bizarre reason, the state has yet to yank his license. Seems complaints get ignored. All I can say is, good luck to anyone who uses him. Buyer Beware. He'll NEVER step one foot on my property again! That's a guarantee.

Our smoke alarm/carbon monoxide detector near the home office began chirping. We did everything we…read moreknew to do, but the chirping would stop for a day and start back up again. We found out through the web that it was at end-of-life and needed to be replaced. The problem was that the detector was wired in and neither my husband nor me are electricians. I found Jackson Electric and decided to call them. Mr. Steven Jackson was very professional and let me know that he would contact me the next day to schedule an appointment. Around lunchtime the next day, I got a call from Michael, who said they would be coming in 30 minutes. I had a training to do, but made adjustments so he could come. Three guys with masks arrived to find out what needed to be done. When I showed them what was going on and showed them that I had the replacement, they did the work in about 5 minutes. The workers were very professional, cleaned up after themselves, and the price was very reasonable and I was pleased the chirping had stopped. Unfortunately, about 3 days later, our other smoke alarm/carbon monoxide detector began chirping. I called Jackson Electric again because of the great service we received the first time. He told me that he would contact me to schedule an appointment. The next day, Michael called and said, "We are in your area - can we come now?" Unfortunately, I was unavailable. Michael said, "No problem. Please call Mr. Jackson to reschedule." I tried several times to get in touch with Mr. Jackson to reschedule with no luck. I left a voicemail with times that I was available to help with his scheduling. I left text messages to try and reschedule. My husband called him a few times to try and reschedule. We did not receive a response. My husband ended up calling someone else. I will say that our first experience with Jackson Electric was great. Not sure what happened the second time, though.
