Decided to write a quick review here on top of my more formal report to the BBB and utilizing the State of California web form BreEZe: department of consumer affairs. This firm is handling, if you can even call it that, my court appointed debt from an auto accident years prior. I am not upset at them for the situation I'm in because it was my own doing ( my one and only auto accident occurred on the single day in-between switching insurance providers! such luck!). However, in 2015 the court officially appointed my debt giving them the ability to come after my money. This would not be so bad and I even understand that it's common for firms to handle debts in such a manner HOWEVER Goldsmith and Hull never contacted me in over 6 years, not even to mention the 3 "more important years" since I have been getting charged interest on my debt. My debt has gone up from $7,000 to $10,000+ simply because I was never contacted. Seems a little too convenient that they had my proper contact information to call me this week in 2018 and yet did not have it in years prior (keep in mind my phone # hasn't changed in over 12 years). Intentionally neglecting to call or mail me about this debt in order to force interest charges on me has me to believe that they have zero integrity. I was told by their collections supervisor that they have the ability to search for a debtors' change of address if they are unsuccessful in getting in contact. So why wasn't this method used? They were sending notices in the mail to an old address that I haven't lived at in 8 years and obviously haven't attempted to find my current address as I was told they were able to. Stay away from these snakes! Seems the type of firm that would seem decent from the outside but then would charge you bullshit hidden fees! I don't want anyone else to fall prey!

Both previous accidents ended up costing me more money than I had and I was tired of being on the receiving end of other peoples' negligence.
