We used Ricardo for our purchase of our latest home that we have always been looking for. We were on the hunt for several years for a property that checked all the boxes, Ricardo is super knowledgeable in the Belmont Shore/Naples/East Long Beach area, if you don't know already Long Beach has many nice neighborhoods and some less appealing, he knows how to steer you in the right direction in terms of what you can afford and the location that you could be landing in. Our situation for our purchase I would say was unique, on our first attempt at our current house we lost the bid for just a few thousand dollars. We were quite disappointed but we mentioned to just keep looking and also stay on top of the house we lost our bid to. As luck would have it, the property went back on the market and because of his good will to the selling agent gave us the first opportunity to purchase our house. To sum up some of Ricardo's qualities: 1.) Knows the East Long Beach area well, and has many connections in the area, to look at listings that may come up in the future 2.) Super responsive and keeps you informed and up to date in your transactions 3.) Very professional, but easy to talk to, can mingle with any sort of personality. 4.) Persistent and Reliable will go to great lengths to get you information and options 5.) Overall nice guy, if you see him in his Yellow Golf cart, say hello, he always take the time to chat with you! read more

We had the pleasure of working with Ricardo recently when we listed our home for sale with him. We interviewed a few realtors and decided to work with Ricardo due to his extensive knowledge about selling a home plus his confidence that he could get us top dollar for our property. He did exactly as he promised, and we are thrilled! He also kept us cool, calm and collected during the stressful process of being in escrow (rather quickly, I might add) due to banking delays. He has a very positive and upbeat personality, and his conversations with us were always reassuring and optimistic. We highly recommend Ricardo for your real estate needs. read more

I used Ricardo to sell a piece of income property in Orange County. The property was held in a trust so there were many requirements to get it sold. Ricardo was extremely professional and willing to work with a myriad of people including a trust attorney, property manager, trustee, etc. He was patient, on top of things and very responsive to any and all questions and concerns. He got me a very good price and was able to put together a deal that worked for everyone. I highly recommend Ricardo for his work ethic, optimism and determination. Update: I never received emails from him. This is what he does. Blames others and doesn't accept responsibility. In my opinion you'd be better off going with another realtor. First off I don't like writing this review. But if it helps another family from going through what mine did then it's worth it. Selling: Ricardo did a decent job selling my home. I did have some higher offers on my house that were contingent. I asked for further details on these offers as to what the potential buyers were selling and so forth so I could make the best decision to get the most money for my home. I never received answers or information on the higher offers. We accepted an offer from a realtor that he knew and he said it would go smoothly. That's all fine and good but you don't pay a realtor for them to make easy money. It's their job to make these transactions go as smoothly as possible and get you the most money for your home. Buying: I would not use Ricardo to purchase a home again. I've bought and sold 2 homes prior to this recent purchase and this was by far the worst experience I've had. Throughout the buying process I'd wait 2-3 days for him or his team to send me documents. This ended up delaying my closing and costing me a week of pay because I had to take time off work to move. All I got was excuses in the end. Blaming the lender and not taking any responsibility. There was terrible communication through the escrow. I continually asked for information on moving dates and closing dates and never received a straight answer. Bottom line I would not recommend hiring Ricardo and his team. read more

This was our first home purchase and Ricardo made it so easy for us. He always kept us up to date on any new listings that would fit our criteria, and was prompt in getting us an appointment to view it. He was always flexible, patient, knowledgeable and easily accessible to answer any questions or concerns. His tenacity, personality and charm got us a bid accepted below market, which is unheard of in this market, and he walked us through the whole process even after closing. We are currently working on remodeling our home and Ricardo has offered a helping had as well as referring us to some trustworthy contractors. If you are in the market to purchase or sale a home, contact Ricardo the Realtor he will make your life easy and will fight for you until the end. read more

When I was looking for a real estate agent, efficiency was key. I wanted to work with someone who would work around my schedule (no easy feat), who was quick, to the point, with no time for BS. After speaking to a few other agents, I came across Ricardo The Realtor. Ricardo quickly exceeded my expectations. My schedule was such that the only time I could look for properties was late after work, at some unholy hour. In spite of that, Ricardo was there for me, walking me through houses, chipper and happy, as if he had nothing bettear late in the evenings. With more then decade of experience, he knows his stuff and is well connected in the long beach community (and beyond) and uses those relationships to help problem solve a situation. We had a tricky time trying to navigate through the world of the FHA renovation loan to finance the purchase but after a few phone calls the mystique of the scary loan wore off and the financing worked out perfectly. Ricardo is a smart negotiator and his advice during this negotiating phase was invaluable and after we talked, he always made me feel better about whatever decision I was about to make. He was always so down to earth, and fun as well. I'd recommend him to anyone I knew who was looking to buy or sell a home. "Thanks RTR" read more

Ricardo The Realtor (aka RTR) has a ton of experience and knowledge of the Long Beach area and helped us purchase our first home as husband and wife. We had to close the deal asap over the holidays and he handled it like a pro. He was able to line up all the necessary appointments in one day (home inspector, termite inspector, appraiser, etc) and helped us guide us through the process even after we left town for the holidays. After escrow, Ricardo went the extra mile by meeting the utility company at our new home to make sure everything was set up for our move in. Ricardo's biggest strength is the fact that he really cares about his clients. You can trust that he'll protect your interests during the entire negotiating process. When all was said and done, we were able to get a great price for our dream home. We can't recommend Ricardo enough. read more

I am blown away by the dedication that Ricardo had with my dear friends who were selling their house. Not only is he is a very knowledgeable sales agent he truly cares and is there for his clients. I witnessed this firsthand when my dear friends were selling their property and had to get a hot tub off the property ASAP. Ricardo offered to help which literally meant he physically moved and push the hot tub eight blocks to its new home. If that's not commitment and caring about your client I don't know what is! And through it all he does it with a smile and is always very very happy and positive even in the stressful time of selling a house. Ricardo and I worked together on a on a sale in Long Beach where he was the buyers agent and I was the loan officer. Ricardo was great to work with. he was very organized and always was able to get us any documents we need to close escrow quickly. He was in constant communication with all parties and easy to reach. What i think is the real testament to Ricardo s knowledge and skill as a Realtor in his market place, was the home he found for the clients. It was just what they wanted and at a great price. So great that it appraised for much higher then it was purchased for and that is market knowledge in action. Give Ricardo a call for your real estate needs. You will not be disappointed. read more

Ricardo took the time to show me apartments, and the Belmont Shore area. Great experience.

Being a single working mom with two boys is a handful. Having to sell my home with my busy schedule was a task that I was not looking forward to. We interviewed several local real estate agents to see who could provide us with the best selling strategy. Some presentations were fair and good. The only one that showed me what technology offers was Ricardo the Realtor. It is crazy how some real estate agents don't know this. Out of all the agents we felt more secure with Ricardo the Realtor and his team. I have to tell you that the whole process was so pleasant. They walked me through step by step. There was a team member always available to take my calls and believe me there were plenty. "RTR" as I call him now was always so accommodating as my schedule changed by the minute. My home was sold and I couldn't be happier with the communication, service and personalized attention that I was provided. It felt like shopping in a high end store where I was the only client. At the end of the day you get what you pay for. My family is so grateful to RTR and his team. I feel like he is family because he really cared about what I wanted. Thank you RTR!!! read more

Ricardo is the man to go to for your real estate needs. I'm a pretty picky customer, but Ricardo was extremely patient and he knows his stuff. Coming from out of town, I didn't know anything about LA or Long Beach. However, Ricardo took the time to explain the different neighborhoods, show me a wide variety of places that fit within my criteria, and identify new places when the first round didn't work out. I highly recommend Ricardo if you're in the market! read more
