After 15 minutes, that employee told me he had to go as he had work to finish in the basement. Meanwhile, another customer walks in and asks for a boot help sizing and fitting. A different employee helped her and was very courteous to her. As I listened to the advice he was giving her, I realized I was ignored. I'll wait and go to Colorado or Utah rather than give them another try.

Oh how charming is this store! It's no wonder it's been in business for 75 years! By far, this was the best experience buying a bicycle I have ever had. Rob took the time to answer all my questions, to help me purchase the best choice for my needs and size, and to help me select a well-fitting helmet, a quality bike lock, a rechargeable safety light, and a cool portable bike pump for long, rural rides. The prices were more than fair, the selection was great, and they really knew their products. Without a doubt, I will shop here in the future for any of my outdoor needs. I highly recommend that you do, too; you'll be pleased with the friendly, knowledgeable staff, quality product selection, and personal shopping assistance. I sure know I was!

I was a little upset when I got there because this has happened to me before with other dealers and I had told them that when on the phone making the appointment. Also I had cords showing through my rear tire and really needed a new one NOW. So after a few harsh words and a mean mugging from me I went outside to think about what I was going to do. After a few minutes a young mechanic came out to talk to me about their FUBAR and to apologize again. A long story short the mechanic was the owners son and a combat vet, the kind of guy who makes things happen. When they couldn't find me a tire at any other local dealers he went through their stash of used tires and found one that had previously been plugged with low miles that fit the wing and asked me if I could live with that for now? My answer... Hell Yeah! He installed it himself and in less than an hour I was on the road and the bike was rolling through curves smooth a silk again. They also gave me a great deal on the tire and install because they knew they screwed up. Now I'm old military and I've got to say they took their ass chewing like men and made things happen. Now Nate, the owners son, is a solid dude and was in no way going to have me ride home on a tire showing cords. He told me during the scramble to find me a tire he was going to give me a loner bike to ride home if nothing panned out. I can work with guys like that. So thanks Hodag! The reason you guys are five stars is because I can't give you six.
