Not far from the famous castle you can find this really small and cosy tea shop. There are only 6…read moretables and if all of them are taken, they close down the place with a sign at the door - so from time to time people have to queue to get inside - peculiar but effective. We came here for an early Afternoon Tea and were not disappointed. A big pot of tea, home made fruit scones and cake combined with cream and jam. All of them tasted fresh and delicious. Cooked meals took quite a while to arrive, which was suprising considering the amount of tables they had to look after. Food was inbetween 'greasy spoon' and 'pub grub' quality. Hot drinks were nice but cold drinks tasted cheap. Only worth visiting if you're after a drink and a small bite to eat, such as one of their home made cakes.
