Dude is a joke. Talked to him for 30 seconds and figured out what kind of person he is. His sales pitch to me was that I didn't have a website and it was a "problem". I informed him we do have a website. He looked it up and found it real quick. For some reason he still said my business didn't come up after literally showing me my own website. I told him you can also google my business and it comes right up. He acted like he was about to do my business a favor and was highly offended I didn't need his services. Mandy Hale A couple of weeks ago, Brett must have read my review and went on the offensive attack. First he wrote me a PM here with this insightful 4-word message: You are a douche. Again, no mention of anything being factually wrong about my review. I guess since my review made it obvious I'm NOT deleting it, he decided to tell me how he really felt. Now, instead of going back to his business model to see if there's anything he should fix/change (i.e.: listening to clients about their wants and needs, fixing and correcting the changes clients request and paid for, having steps in place to ensure quality and security of site, etc.) he spends his time retaliating against those who speak out against him. As others have said before me, "The business owner, upon reading my previous review, decided to launch personal attacks...to include sending threatening messages and fabricating quite a fantastically fictional story which he posted." He's created entirely fictitious reviews and posted them all over the internet, in an attempt to smear my current place of employment. Luckily, my new place has integrity and lets its work speak for itself. I also have a boss who's not afraid to stand up for what's right. History has proven that the truth will always reveal itself- and has made me a true believer! We have now gotten more positive reviews and client referrals. Upon seeing his actions, our clients have been so appalled, they've really rallied behind us. We have literally been showered with love and support. Talk about an eye-opening experience. Again, thanks to former reviews, we are fully prepared in case he continues his MO and sends me "threatening text messages that attempted to threaten me and my place of employment with litigation for posting a negative review of his unprofessional business practices." So Brett, I hope you see this as a lesson that scare tactics and retaliations will only get you so far. As the Bible states, "Truthful lips endure forever, but a lying tongue lasts only a moment." You've had your moment. And now that's passed. It's up to you how you want this to be resolved. You and your employees can continue attacking and creating false reviews OR you can take a good hard look at your business and business practices. I would suggest the latter. Do not do business with Rhino. He agreed to create our site for us by a set date, in a written contract. The contract stated that the site would be finished to our liking. While the site was being built, we provided feedback for things we wanted changed to suit our needs, as well as to have him correct things that were flat out wrong from the beginning, despite our having been very clear as to what we wanted on our site. (Very basic things, like color scheme, he still had not fixed!) By the end of business on the date the contract specified, the site was not to our liking. Well before the contract date, we provided a very long list of feedback for things we wanted changed. After the contract expired, we asked him if he had even bothered to read the emails we had sent, detailing the changes we wanted made, and he plainly advised "no," he had not even read the emails. Any time we asked him for a feature that was not part of the Joomla template, he advised that it was either impossible, or would "take a lot of coding." Other times, when we would tell him via text message what we wanted changed, he would tell us that "the template" wouldnt allow it. Often, when pressed to make corrections, he would explode and tell my business partners that we were trying to intimidate or threaten or otherwise coerce him into working. His text messages would be chock full of curse words and other offensive language. I hired a web designer, not a template jockey, which is all Brett is. He has trouble working outside of set templates that create very cookie-cutter style, and boring, websites. When I called Brett to tell him that the contract was null, as the site had not been completed by the specified date, he first told me that the site was, in fact, finished. I told him that was not correct, because it was not done to our liking. Despite all the (unread) feedback email and text, he had not made the changes we wanted to get the site we wanted. He hadnt even bothered to install the SSL that we had paid for and asked him several times to install to show the site (and email) was secure. Despite the fact that he acknowledged that he had not even READ the emails that we'd sent that detailed changes we were requesting to the site, he continued to be adamant that the site was finished. The conversation ended with Brett swearing and cursing at me and hanging up on me. As of today, Ive now additionally received threatening text messages that attempted to threaten our business with litigation for posting a negative review of his unprofessional business practices. read more

I would definitely recommend Rhino Web Studios. I have known Brett, owner of Rhino Web Studios, for many years and he is a very talented designer. In addition to designing our web site a little over a year ago he has also assisted us in designing some of our auction brochures. Our web site was hosted through our phone company and we used Front Page to design it. Brett approached us one day and said that he really wanted to redesign our website. We agreed since it was quite outdated and we were beginning to have issues, as Front Page was being phased out. Since we were unfamiliar with Joomla, we gave him some basic information of what we wanted in addition to what was already on our site and let him design the new site. Once it was completed he met with us and tweaked a few things and added some other features that we needed on the site and then we were up and running. We received many compliments from our auction customers about our website after Brett redesigned it. From time to time we may need some changes that we haven't quite figured out how to do ourselves, so we send them to Brett and he gets them taken care of. There will always be unsatisfied customers for any business, and people that have nothing better to do than smear a good reputation. Kind of like hackers have nothing better to do than hack. It is unfortunate that people are not as eager to post praise about a business and promote companies to enhance their good reputation.
