Not just me, but to other costumers too. Then after that, I was trying to borrow a universal plug from them or a cell phone charger. Every hotel I went to, they will have something like that, or, at least, some cell phone chargers. This one don't have any, which is unbelievable, I would assume a hotel right next to an international airport would be more international. And the front desk lady told me, "you should prepare it when you came to Europe". I didn't come to this hotel or stay in this city by my choice; my flight was delayed so that my flight was rescheduled. I believe a lot of their customer are same as me. But the front desk lady has no sympathy at all. Basically, she was rude and racist. I will never come to this hotel by my choice again.

It's a bit of a walk from the gates, but it's not too terribly hateful. There is a Hilton and Hilton Garden Inn within the FRA Terminal that makes life a lot easier for those who especially have early morning flights. Frankfurt traffic can be a bit of a nightmare and often times it's quite unpredictable. Without breaking the bank, you can spend the night conveniently at the airport for worry free arrival to your gate the next morning. The hotel is set in a mall type atmosphere with shops, fast food options and multiple restaurants. There's plenty of room to have a wander and go shopping instead of sitting around in your room. The next morning, wake up fresh and head to your gate. With the security check points being 10 - 15 minutes of a walk from the hotel, you'll be on your way in no time. Would I go back? Absolutely. A night at the FRA Hilton Garden Inn is almost a must each time I fly out of FRA. It keeps me sane and on schedule.

Some staff (at breakfast most noticeably) is very friendly, but a handyman seems to be lacking. The bathroom is also super awkward with the pull close doors that have holes, no locks, and a crack between them where they do not completely meet. My kids were so uncomfortable trying to shower, get dressed, etc in there with others in the actual room. The restaurant has a small menu and well stocked bar. Overall, a good choice for the area other than the bathrooms and some cleanliness issues.

Only problems are it was to warm when you enter the room and it smells like someone did smoke the day before inside the room, even when we ask for a non-smoking room.
