We had two great nights and all for about $50 USD per night. Like most German houses or apartments, these rooms also have a foyer that had a door you can close to the actual room. However, we were informed that this hotel was the nicest one they had available. We've stayed in an NH hotel in rome, and I believe in florence. Amazing hotels. Walking into the lobby of this hotel, it looks nice, something I would expect from a 3-4 star. However, thats where the resembles stops. We found our room, and it reminded me of an old dorm building. I believe this is an old dorm converted to a hotel. The bathroom is wierd, the toilet too high and I'm 6ft2, the tub too difficult to get into for both me and my wife, and she was 4 months pregnant. We went down to eat our meal, and were told that the meal was predetermined, unlike what we had been informed that we had a 20 euro credit. The food reminded me of bad school cafeteria food. Bland, and cheap. We actually left the hotel, and walked to a local thai place a mile away, no shuttle service, and given the cold weather it would have been appreciated. Breakfast the following morning was also a buffet, and it again was bad. Would recommend against staying here.

Check in staff were professional and even gave me a voucher for dinner and breakfast. Which was not necessary but whatever. My room was clean, the hotel is kinda new so it's in a good shape for now. I went to the hotel restaurant to grab a bite and had the voucher with me. The wait staff immediately walked up to me and told me I don't need to order they have food prepared for the voucher holders and it's pasta with chicken. I asked to see the menu since I am a vegetarian and he keep saying no they can't. Even though I told them I am going to pay for my food and I don't need the voucher. The server wouldn't listen finally his colleague came up and I explained to him that I like to pay for whatever I eat from the actual menu. Not sure if it was language barrier but it was very annoying after a long layover, missing a connection, and being super hungry. They food was Asian fusion and it was okay. The next day I was up early and didn't even bother having breakfast there. I would stay for an overnight if I have to but won't eat there.
