While it's true that I did suffer from some child abuse, Marsha attempted to uncover memories that I was unaware of by the use of hypnosis. She kept digging and digging by asking leading questions to try to recover more memories that she thought I had forgotten. During this extremely emotional process, she attempted to persuade me to create, what is known as "false memories" Please google what this is and how easily this is done. She even got a group therapy member to create additional false memories of "satanic ritual abuse". Please also google. This type of abuse was disproven years ago, which proves that false memories of this type were created by some therapists. Ms Hyman creates a dependency on her, and like the previous reviewer makes you think you'll need many, many years of treatment from her. She has an inflated confidence in herself and unfortunately she has a reputation that needs to be questioned. She caused me to question my ability to trust myself. Fortunately I gave up on her, and have recovered my self confidence over the years. Anyway, I'm glad I could share my experience on Yelp in the hope that you can avoid her dangerous so called "therapy"

When I moved back to New Jersey in 2022, I had to begin my search for a therapists, and it was terrible. Some wouldn't call back, one was unprofessional and would call at weird times, but Positive Reset was right on the ball. Signing up for it was all online which was a little strange because I'm so used to doing everything in person, but I gave it a shot and it was worth it. They do do in person sessions which I love, so you have the option of going in person or virtual, which is good. The quality of care is phenomenal. I haven't a therapist this good in a while. She is kind, compassionate, and very intuitive. She understands things in a way I never thought possible, and she uses techniques that I've never heard of before, and they work! She is highly qualified, and she cares about me and wants to help. And she always looks to learn more about therapy and what's best to help the patient. It makes me feel safe, and it makes me feel like I'm actually getting better instead of just staying stagnant like I've felt with different therapists. The office is clean, well lit, quick to reply when you contact them, just good all around. 10/10 do recommend.

After a week, she recovered and went to NJ Shore Center. Unfortunately, they are understaffed and don't care when patients could potentially have life threatening issues. My mom was complaining for 21 days her red button help bell was not working. I also complained multiple times. The response we got, my mom is not pushing the button and maybe she needs a psych evaluation. During the 21 days my mom waited up to an hour to get assistance to move her bowels and was in severe pain. She was constantly in wet diapers. I was too trusting and after 21 days, I personally tested the red help bell. Low and behold to their surprise the signal was being routed into another room. They acknowledged, called maintenance and didn't even apologize, heartless. The damage was done and I noticed my mom confused with hands uncontrollably shaking on the 23rd day. I demanded she go to Monmouth medical. They called ambulance and we waited 6 hours. Never again, I should have called 911 myself. As soon as my mom got into the hospital she had a seizure. She had urinary tract infection and went into septic shock. Her blood pressure dangerously low and went into ICU. Once again, she survived and after 7 days went to an acute hospital / rehab - Encompass. My mom went there barely able to stand and within 14 days she was speed walking and healthy. She is now back home and doing well. Miraculous recovery! I can't say enough of the care and the staff at Encompass, they are the BEST. Unfortunately, NJ Shore center was the worst and almost cost my loving and spirited mom her life.
