If you're looking for a place to sit and have a quick bite or lounge and watch the beautiful…read moresunset, consider coming here. The only reason why I'm giving four stars instead of five is because of the road noise from the cars and trucks passing by. But the view of the lake and mountains are beautiful and the patio is comfortable and spacious. The limonada is fresh and tart; I recommend it with mineral water and slightly sweet. To order this in Spanish just say, "limonada con agua mineral con poco jarabe". There are two dishes that I particularly enjoyed here. They are: one. There are two dishes that I particularly enjoy here. 1. Arrachera con papa y verduras al vapor: skirt steak with baked potato and steamed veggies. It's flavorful and delicious. The potato may be smaller than you expect, but it's all yum when JT comes to the table. 2. Pizza Charly: wood fired relatively thin crust pizza with sausage, pepperoni and ham. Perfect sauce and crispy crunch. For dessert, don't forget the strawberry flambé nestled under vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, chocolate sauce and nuts. The only recommendation is for them to bring you a bigger spoon because your table mates will devour it before you can say: "Que te pasa, guey!" Translation: "dude, what is wrong with you!" #wtf I'm a big fan of this spot, and if you get a hug from a little girl who's about that high, don't be alarmed. That's just Charlotte, she is the daughter of which the restaurant is so named.

Having dined here many times prior I felt comfortable bringing a guest to eat here. I had bragged…read moreabout how good their Chile en Nogada was so we both ordered the same. To say I was disappointed would be an understatement. To begin instead of two Chiles we were only given one a piece. The Chile is normally served with pomegranate seeds on top, we were told that they were out of pomegranate seeds. That's part of what gives it it's flavor! When we took a bite...the inside was cold! We had to argue about it with the waitress as she tried to tell us it's supposed to be and got her nose out of joint when we asked her to warm them up. This used to be a good place to eat, sadly it no longer is. I won't be back

The chef was from West Africa and worked for Paul Prudhomme in New Orleans specializing Louisiana Cajun cuisine. The Special Of the Day was posted on a chalk board just outside of the restaurant. Everything on the menu with some vegetarian and vegan options was made to order with really fresh products. For starters, we got their Masala Fries Tossed in East African spiced ketchup, Grilled Masala Chicken Satays with tomato, cucumber & raita dressing, Fried Calamari with sambal Mayo and African Nutsy Soup (Vegetarian ground peanut). As an entree, we decided on Jammin Jambalaya consisting of chicken, shrimp & chorizo simmered in their homemade creole tomato, Grilled Salmon Teriyaki with sesame seeds, bok-choy & steam basmati rice, Vegetable Chef Curry of the day, Chicken Piccata (Pan fried w/ italian herbs, garlic, wine, capers & lil salad), Fresh Catch Ginger Beer Battered Fish and Chips w/ sauce remoulade and the Greatest Cajun Club with Blackened chicken, bacon, mayo, lettuce & tomato. Excellent presentation on all their dishes and the food was outstanding especially the satays and the service given by Miriam. Not the cheapest place in town, but the prices were reasonable. If you crave hot and spicy, this is a place for you which we can recommend.
