Once again, I was in the market for a pork shoulder and my Tia recommended I go here. Located in the Doral warehouse district this is a no frills spot to get any kind of meat and seafood you desire for a ridiculously good price. Think of it like a Costco but without needing a membership, and with more meat variety when it comes to cuts and sizes. This is a great spot to go to if you're planning a larger party as they have a ton of sausages, things to picar, and meat and seafood to choose from. I picked up tuna steaks for $6.99 (8 oz portion) as well as a 11 lb bonelesss pork shoulder for under $30. I will definitely be back for their assortments of cheeses, arepas, and cured meats (hellooo jamón ibérico). I also noticed they have frozen empanadas and other bakery items that looked perfect for my freezer or party prep. The service is really friendly and I found it to be clean and easy to navigate. There's a parking lot as well as street parking. I'd suggest coming during the week, as I did hear on the weekends it gets crazy. This morning I went before 10 am and I was in and out in 15 min. I will most definitely be back.

John then continued to pass judgement on our request by laughing over it in Spanish with another customer in the store. We understand the language and the ridicule that was shared. I wasn't aware that it was an outrageous request to have your meat sliced by the butcher in a meat shop. Highly recommend Familia Market on quail roost, they slice the meat, and salt & pepper without hesitation or judgement always with a smile.

Guti was incredibly helpful, taking the time to walk me through all the different cuts, answer my questions, and explain their products. He previously worked at Graziano's before taking the leap to open his own shop, and that experience really shows. It's refreshing to have a local butcher where you can build a personal relationship and get exactly the cuts you're looking for instead of just picking up pre-packaged meat from the grocery store. I'm looking forward to continuing to support this local business. If you're looking for high-quality meats, knowledgeable service, and an authentic neighborhood butcher shop, I highly recommend stopping by Gutierrez Butchers. Best of luck to Guti and his family--I can't wait for my next visit!

A friend who lives in the area recommended this bodega, and off I went. As I was warned by friend, parking is an adventure! There's some street parking around the business. But their parking lot makes me glad I don't have an SUV because it is very, shall I say, cozy. While they do take credit cards for payment, they don't accept reservations by phone or even a digital platform for precooked orders. The service inside the store was pretty attentive, and the pork pretty generous in size (we had enough left over to freeze for another dinner) and taste. After buying it you do need to put it in the oven since it is just sold marinated. They also sell yuca, moros (black beans & rice) and other latin staples. The store background music is even a stream from a radio station from the Dominican Republic.
