This clinic is very modern, and they allow you to make an appointment (though the clinic was…read morepractically empty). However the doctor lacked basic skill and the bedside manor was nonexistent. I saw Dr. Antoinette Mikhail to have 6 stitches removed from my back. After several minutes of scrounging to find scissors and tweezers she instructed me to take my shirt off with the door open. She then began digging at my back at which point she remarked, "these scissors are very dull, they are making this difficult." Didn't I know, it was my flesh she was picking at. She got up and left the room without explanation leaving me sat there in my bra with the door open, and returned with a more appropriate looking set of tools. She then proceeded to use a dental pick type tool to dig 2 "half stitches" out of my back, swabbed me with alcohol and sent me on my way. This was 4 days ago, I have since removed 3 half stitches myself and am quite certain there is a 4th still under my skin. I would not recommend this clinic for much more than a flu diagnosis. Dr. Contreras has been a family pediatrician for over 20 years for us and I cannot imagine sending…read moremy loved ones anywhere else. He is a physician that treats his patients with respect and love- not to mention that he is also very knowledgeable and truly an expert in his field. I have noticed that his diagnoses have been correct before even a confirmatory test. He has a lot of passion for medicine and goes above and beyond to make sure that his patients are healthy- I would be an example of that. At times when I was the sickest, I was always fortunate enough to have Dr. Contreras office to go to and he really makes you feel like you are a part of his family. Michelle is also an exceptional nurse and an even better human being, that works in his other office near William Osler Etobicoke Hospital. She is by far the most organized and helpful sidekick to his practice! I would definitely recommend Dr. Contreras to anyone looking for a pediatrician.

The center is quite diligent with the follow-ups and reminders on the appointments. We had our family doctor, Dr. Kachroo here and she was really great. She also recommended us to a very good specialist doctor nearby for certain specific needs and had been good at coordinating with her. Definitely, recommend Dr. Kachroo if someone is looking for a good family doctor.
