If you go to the postal office located inside the same building as the pharmacy, you get a ticket. How can they differentiate between a customer that goes to the postal office and/or pharmacy for business in the same establishment. Their argument is that the sign in the parking lot states "Reserved Pharmasave Customers ONLY" Their website advertises the following: Westboro Pharmasave is independently owned and operated and has served the Westboro community for almost a hundred years. In addition to being a full-service Pharmacy - Westboro Pharmasave also provides a Postal Office; General Convenience sand many other services and products to meet your every need. Their website clearly states the postal office is part of the establishment: At Westboro Pharmasave, our professional team offers a variety of services: * Postal Outlet * Customer Special Orders * Stocking Fittings * Coagulation Consultation * Specialized Geriatric Care * Blood Pressure Monitor * Disease State Management * Compliance Packaging * Delivery Service Anyone else experience the same issue? A person ahead of me received a ticket who went inside the establishment. I'll be reaching out to the property owner in Whitby Ontario & the CEO of the company. The private security also at fault for issuing chintzy parking tickets to paying customers is wasting City resources & court time. Too bad you can't give a zero-star review, if you are a paying customer, you will receive a ticket, I don't recommend doing business at this establishment. The pharmacy owner promised to have the ticket reversed & hasn't to date.

I'm glad that this pharmacy is still around even after the opening of the Shoppers Drug Mart across…read morethe street, a few years ago. I always root for the underdog and in my heart I want to support the smaller businesses over the huge conglomerates. However, at the end of the day I am looking for good variety, low prices and products that haven't been sitting on the shelf for ages. So I will go to this Pharmasave for some items and Shoppers Drug Mart for others. This Pharmasave has a great Organic/Natural Foods section. There is a lot of variety, the turnover is decent, and while the prices are high, they are comparable to Natural Food Pantry, Kardish, and other such "Health Food Stores". They carry some local brands too. This Pharmasave also has a good greeting cards section, and they sell some unusual "last minute gifts" like purse organizers, pretty pill storage containers, and some cool kitchenware. Their cosmetics section is sad. It is very small with hardly any variety. The prices are high for drugstore brands (they rarely have good sales on their cosmetics) and I have never actually seen anyone purchase cosmetics there. I would be afraid to buy makeup there out of fear that the inventory is old. There is a post office in this Pharmasave (there is no post office across the street in the Shoppers Drug Mart). My review is just for the "retail" part of the store. I have never used the drug dispensing services of the pharmacists here, so I cannot speak to that. Staff are generally nice. There is a parking lot at the back of the store. You can park free if you are going to the Pharmasave and will be less than 20 minutes. Otherwise, there is a fee for parking there. Some spots are reserved, so watch out for that.

Wtf!!! I called the shoppers at 3pm on a Wednesday to order my medication and the pharmacist tells…read moreme "no problem sir, we have your meds available and your meds will be ready same day tomorrow". I take 4 different meds so I made sure to specify which one to the pharmacist. Unfortunately I couldn't get in the Thursday since I had last minute appointments scheduled so I had to come back on Friday. I usually get a text for when to pick up my meds but nothing so I assume that it will be "ready" on Friday. I come on Friday at noon on my lunch to find out they filled out the wrong meds!!! There was only one pharmacist on the floor!!! The meds they gave me was one of mine (keptra) but not the right one. I look in the bag to find they filled out 3 months worth of the wrong one. As the pharmacist looks in the back to try in fill the right meds(cenoblamate), she tells me that there's only has 50mg tablets and not 100mg and that she only has enough for two weeks. Once done completing my order she makes sure to order more meds to get them as soon as possible . It's a new med for me and she tells me she can only give me 2 weeks worth of the 100mg pills at a time when they have them. Why am I aloud to get 3 weeks Kepra but only 2 weeks or less of cenoblamate!!! I always get the same problem every time I walk in to the pharmacy for the 3 months of kepra vs the rest of my meds!!! As we finish the debacle, she wanted me to pay for both bags even if iit clearly states that my work insurance pays for it!!! I was so mad to the point that I wanted to talk to a manager. There was no manager in the building!!! wtf!!! Was told that the 3 bank street location are used same management. So she had to call him personally to know if I can get my meds under coverage. After some technical asking back and forth I didn't understand, they got fed up and let me leve with both bags for free. As I walk out I notice only one cashier and one employee in the makeup department. Don't you guys have training on everything!? Like shouldn't you come help us cashier? I had the same problem for two months with my other meds vs kepra!!! wtf!!! There was another 15 people behind me. I can't hendle this!!! Hire more staff or get your fucken shit together or I'm changing pharmacies!!!

I met my friend in her neighbourhood for a tour. We met at this Shoppers Drug Mart (SDM) as our…read morestarting point. She got there first. I was briefly sidetracked by a woman at COBS bread on the same block handing out samples of its apricot delight loaf. When I got to this SDM, I read the sign saying that I couldn't bring in food. Ugh! I texted my friend to let her know that I was devouring a bread sample and was outside. She let me know that she'd be out soon. It was a bit of a bummer that I couldn't meet her inside. It was hot, but bearable to be outside to sample a carb with fruit. We walked around for hours. It was a fun, memorable day. We parted ways and I decided to visit this store at long last. It was nicely air-conditioned. If you need to beat the heat, come here and shop. It's a perfect rating for me on the cool-yourself-off-on-a-summer-day scale. I liked the beauty section. I normally invade the nail polish and nail care aisle first. I liked the variety of polish brands and colours. It was cheerful and inviting. It had a nice selection of dairy-free beverages. I was pleased seeing Silk cartons of soy, oat, and almond beverages. My local SDM doesn't have that variety at all. I could tell from this section of the store that this SDM was different and so special. I had a tough time tearing myself out of the snacks and candy sections. I didn't need any, but it was tempting seeing Smart Sweets and lots of chips. It felt like heaven and terribly deadly on vacation. I ended up in the cold beverages section. There was a sale on pop. I could get two bottles for $4. My thirst was still there from sodium fest 2023. We had visited a Thai eatery for lunch and it took the rest of my day getting rid of my thirst. I got a sugar-free Fresca and a zero-sugar cherry Coke. I paid at the checkout. I got the nicest, friendliest woman who helped me out. I paid with a debit card and had my PC Optimum barcode scanned from my phone. Done! I thanked her, grabbed my items, and headed to my car, which was around the corner from this SDM. I cracked open the Fresca and drank it as I walked over to my car. It was refreshing and had the right tartness that I needed at this moment. This drink would be my third of six post-sodium lunch to try and extinguish my thirst. It was cold and perfect as I headed over to Tealive to pick up some takeout before heading back to the hotel. I had the zero-sugar cherry Coke in my hotel room. So good! I don't have cherry pop that often. This one hit the spot. I loved visiting this SDM. It's a decent one. I wish that I had one in my neighbourhood loaded with everything that I love, and may or may not need. (302)
