The product range is set by hq. You will find all basic groceries and necessities and that's it. No premium product is available, which would really fit in this location. Still they have a sushi counter, where basic sushi is freshly prepared. In general Rewe is inexpensive.

EDEKA is their top brand especially when they have franchise partners like Hundrieser who own 5 shops in NRW. The concept is that you have a base of products which is assigned by headquarters. In addition to that the franchise partner can sell any additional product they like. Here they have a large fish and seafood counter as well as a nice antipasti counter. At the meat counter you will find premium Argentinian, Irish and even US beef. In the wine and liquor section you will find premium whisky, champagne, schnaps, red and white wine, even rarities. In general the store is bright and clean with wide aisles. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. There are always enough cash register opened. Waiting time during peak hours is still acceptable. If you live in this area this is the place to shop groceries.

Für arbeitende Leute eine echte Zumutung. Angeblich fehlt es an fehlt es an Personal, das kommt davon wenn man bestimmte Leute im Personal bevorzugt, andere weg ekelt und dann nicht bereit ist für neue Leute mehr als Mindestlohn zu zahlen. Ich habe über 40 Jahre bei diesem Edeka eingekauft heute sage ich dazu: Macht den Laden gleich dicht oder gebt in an eine andere Leitung ab. Dazu kommt das das spärlich vorhandene Personal zumal extrem unfreundlich ist.
