They are a few organic supermarket in Wuppertal town but I would recommend this one in particular - If you are stuck there for whatever reason, that's where you can find your unsweetened, unsalted, unoiled soy milk at the best price and goes for other health maintenance products. - All the recognized labels that you want to see are there (bio, bioland, etc...) - It's a couple of stations away from the main station (Hauptbahnof) - Staff is ready to inform, friendly sometimes with flirting eyes (damn, we are far from hamburg!) -They have a connected bakery with fresh pastries, sometimes vegan, just ask or just try if you're an omnivore read more

Established in 1973.

Die Wurzeln der SuperBioMarkt AG hat das Unternehmen in dem Bio-Laden Makrohaus, der 1973 am Josephskirchplatz in Münster gegründet wurde. 1993 wurde das Markenkonzept des SuperBioMarktes als erster Vollsortiment-Supermarkt in Nordrhein-Westfalen entwickelt und umgesetzt. 1996 wurde in Osnabrück die erste Filiale außerhalb Münsters gegründet. Im Jahr 2001 folgte die AG-Gründung.

It's a mostly a food store but they also have an attached cafe…read more- Location : Robert-Daum-Platz, 2 stops away from the main station (Hauptbahnof) with the suspended train (schwebebahn) - The store : slightly smaller than the SuperBioMarkt around the corner and more expensive however they do sell some items which aren't found in the latter. Case in point : I was looking for a more then 70%cocoa, nondairy chocolate bar and found at BioSophie - The cafe : cosy, within the store premises, they have a daily menu in addition to many items displayed for a grab and go lunch. I picked a bean salad that day, 1,8EUR/100g is slightly overpriced even for organic food and it was somehow too oily. I also tried a bratlinge dinkel, a ball paste with wholemeal flour and some veggies inside and i twas great ! very good, very filling (1,8eur) - They also have a non-sunexposed patio, so you can seat outside during those summer days without getting skin cancer or crocodile skin. - Staff : very friendly and helpful I wouldnt be a regular but it's worth a try
