Our furnace stop blowing heat. We contacted them to come. The first attempt failed and they came…read moreout less than a week later and stated they needed to replace the thermostat. I asked what we owed them and was told they would email the bill. Imagine my surprise when we received a $879 bill with absolutely no breakdown. I immediately called my nephew. A journeyman plumber in Regina. He said that the work listed on the bill should not have come to that amount I reached out to them for a breakdown of the bill and was sent an infuriating nonsensical reply. It listed what was done and one total. After 4 email requests and 2 phone calls they have yet to explain a thing. If a business bills more than it should have been, a simple explaination is a reasonable request. We will be pursuing avenues that will hopefully conclude with a bit of clarity.

If that wasn't enough the founder of the business Stan is a Chicago Blackhawks fan. So you know he knows how to pick a good team.

We go to yelp for help, and find 2 HVAC companies that are open Sunday. She calls the first one that is open, but the reviews are terrible. The tech spent 4 hours getting the furnace operational, and would come back the next day to replace a faulty part. The best part of this story is, she was treated like a friend.
