Pastor Mike Gonzalez and his wife, First lady Norma are a beautiful example of what respect and marriage should be. He preaches from the bible. The thing I noticed on each visit is that they walk in the prophetic, meaning a word is given. It is a great church to visit or become a member of.

The Word in service given by Pastor Mike Gonzalez was Spirit filled and beautiful projected with simplicity, but yet with power. The service is communicated in both English and Spanish and very well synchronized. I couldn't be more pleased with what I experienced in this house of worship. The love and power of the Holy Spirit was evident in that place. I would recommend anyone who would like to visit or just tired of being tired of life's struggles.....come in to the House of Refuge and allow GOD to transform you to wholeness in this church. I explained it was my first visit and the lady who greeted me explained how the service goes, what to expect, and made me feel at ease. The worship band is amazing! Great voices, great music, and very contemporary and upbeat. The pastor's sermon was very inspirational. I'm looking forward to attending again, hopefully my search is over!

We payed $200 for flowers since they said we could take them after mass well the priest didn't let us take them he didn't even let our photographer take video or good pictures he was just in a really bad mood.
