I've been looking for a church home for awhile and I really think this is the place! It's energetic and the people are friendly without being smothering, and the people are genuinely happy to see you. You can be as active as you want. You can sign up to volunteer, or for a group study, or you can go in, listen, and go home. The message by Pastor Randy are always timely, interesting, uplifting, and humorous. He really wants to reach out to people and connect how he can. The other pastors are just as awesome. The music is upbeat and energetic and just makes you feel good. They put the words on the big screen if you don't know them and you can stand up and sing. Or sit and listen. No judging here. They have coffee and also a little coffee shop and area to gather before the service too. But you can bring drinks in as well. It's totally casual as well, unless you want to dress up. This place is just amazing. Filled with amazing people and an amazing message.

Always friendly and helpful staff but most of all Pastor Randy preached from the Bible. I grew up going to Lakewood but will never go back there after finding a church like this that teaches the true gospel. Try it you won't be disappointed.

I came to Clear Creek about 4 years ago when they started their "Shine" series. From the moment I…read morestarted the "Shine" series, I felt safe. I felt my sins, troubles, and sorrows were washing away as I stood before Him. The sermon resonated within me, the voice of Kerri (who is their lead singer) brought me to tears. Nothing is better than coming each Sunday to remind yourself of the goodness of Him. Though you may not forgive yourself, He does. Each pastor teaches differently. My favorite is Yancey, who adds humor, yet depth to his teachings. I highly recommend to those who are new to the community, who are lost & need to be found, or anyone that needs to find a new church to call home.

Let me start by saying that I am not a Christian, if anything I lean more Theist or Buddhist. That…read moresaid, this church pretty much ticks all the boxes for anyone in need of a little spiritual healing. Lets start with all the good stuff. *Childcare- It is provided here for all ages and it is STELLAR! The kids area is beautiful, clean and well run. They have the whole place on lockdown and you can leave your children knowing they are well cared for and safe. The peace of mind is priceless. The staff is awesome and my kids love coming. They also do bible related crafts and activities. *Coffee- It's plentiful and it's free! They have 2 well stocked coffee areas with sugar, cream, tea and on a good day some gorgeous soul will bring donuts. They also have lots of tables and chairs. *Service- It's relatively painless! I approach service as more of a philosophy class and although I don't always agree with what's said I can usually walk away with some valuable nugget. There are about 3-4 senior and junior pastors that rotate between this location and 2 others. Yancy is our unofficial favorite. They're very good about not using the "Christian" label, I suppose it's to attract more folks. *Community Service- CCCC really stands out here. For example, last Sunday they cut service short because they had over 20 organizations set up in the lobby for the congregation to walk around and find something to get involved in. They had everything, refugee assimilation, foster care, women & children's shelters, Habitat for Humanity, etc. They have bible studies and groups to get involved in. I believe there is also a service on Weds. They are super hands on in the community and truly do give back. Honestly can't think of anything bad. See you on Sunday!

But what started as a "drink from the well of good and don't feed on the influencers of the devil" turned into a soap box rant about politics, the evils of being gay, etc. He bashed governors from certain states and spoke favorably about governors of others. He bashed democratic beliefs, and favored republican. He completely contradicted what he was trying to have his message be about. It was extremely uncomfortable and I'm not surprised many people walked out during his sermon. Christ said "My table is set for all," not "My table is set for everyone except...." I cannot believe the leader of the church would spew such hatred to people who come needing to be filled with the loving, powerful, forgiving word of God. What they ended up getting was someone using the Bible as a weapon. Their paster, a person called to be Shepard is nothing other than a wolf. The congregation, normally shouting and cheering during the message was silent, and he even cracked a joke saying the room was full of Lutherans. Now he's making fun of other Christians? I was waiting for him to go into an angry rant about the evils of tattoos and body piercings, but I think he may be saving that for another sermon down the road. Overall, unprofessional and absolutely NOT what a church should do. Our family actually left angry and we had a long discussion with the kids after about how he spoke from anger and not the truth. Do not recommend at all. I'd be surprised if anyone goes next week at all. It was that bad.
