I must say that although I believe that Annette was flexible and within my budget, this was exactly…read morethe one thing that went wrong at my wedding. When we met she was very professional and seemed organized. She took all of our information, and ideas in mind when it came to our special day. Annette even said she was going to make programs for us to use at the ceremony- which was not done. Nothing went as planned. The room was hot, as we were nervous. As I met my groom at the altar, Annette did not advise anyone to sit down. Many of our guests were handicap, elderly, also pregnant and had difficulty standing. As the ceremony continued, she seemed disheveled. What irritated me most was that she continuously was rummaging through her paperwork looking for the next thing that she was supposed to say. The night prior I had advised her not to call us by our nick names, and I knew she was very outgoing which made me nervous although we are a very down to earth couple I requested to have all jokes removed keep it formal using our full names and one request was to keep the part if anyone opposed to the marriage. I noted that this was not done and confronted some of our friends. Our friends said that she was teaching them (almost as though they were in kindergarten. Many of our friends were in on this joke and I was very disappointed when this was what I was looking forward to most and it didn't happen. When we finished we had everything scheduled to be able to enjoy our cocktail hour which we were unable to do because she took more of her time, after a very long and hot ceremony to have us sit and watch our witnesses sign paperwork over and over and over again. Annette was very unprofessional and although approachable and flexible with budget I would not recommend her as I felt my marriage and my certificate thereafter was being held over my head like a treat for a dog.
