Okay - first of all after reading reviews before our visit and seeing there were conflicting reviews we were wary but already committed and had a reservation. The Led zepplin performance was too loud for the space and exactly what I would expect from a roadhouse type atmosphere. I was in from out of town to see an Adelitas way concert. The website, flyers, and Facebook page stated doors open at 6:30pm with show starring at 7:00pm. It is now 7:45pm and a bartender informed me that shows normally start at 8:30pm or 9:00pm. I am frustrated with the untruthful information. It is a Thursday night and I planned to be done by 10:00pm ( a reasonable time with two bands starting at 7:00pm). Please keep information accurate and do not lie to your paying customers. I had high hopes and love smaller venues for concerts but am thoroughly disappointed in management and marketing. Update: it is now 8:30pm and still nothing. Some girls working the merch table are drinking, loud, and running up to people trying to get pictures. Not professional. read more

This place is great! The decor is adorable and fun. It works perfectly. The stage is smaller, and the venue is the perfect size for a more intimate vibe. I mean, we were shoulder to shoulder and moshing at the concert I went to, but there was room in the back for fresh air. Great balance. I would definitely be back to this great venue. read more

Great venue. Right at the corner of the River Market. The place is big. Not a lot of seating. The bathrooms were not disgusting. There is plenty of room to dance. There is a VIP section. It is best to park in the parking deck. Street parking is limited. The temperature was nice. Usually it is overly hot in places like that from all the people. read more

I love this place as a music venue. Lots of places and raised floors to stand and still get a good view of the stage. This is especially important if you are a short, Asian girl. It's one of the larger music venue in Little Rock, and they bring in the more popular indie bands. Compared to other out-of-state venues I've been too, I'd probably give this place 4 stars, but it gets 5 stars for being in Little Rock and for not being stingy with the Crown when I order Crown and Coke. read more

I've been to the restaurant/bar for brunch, and it wasn't half bad - but I finally made it back out for a concert! The Oh Hellos put on a fantastic show (as they are wont to do) and the Rev Room was arguably the perfect venue for them. This isn't my first rodeo, small indoor concerts are one of my things, and my wife sure can pick 'em :) Of all the concert venues I've been to in LR, this one is a standout in terms of the space they offer. South on Main has more tables and food, Vino's has more community, and Sticky'z has... Well, more character - but the Rev Room has (I think) the best space. The stage is a raised platform in the center of a dancing pit for standing room, moshing, etc. While the rest of the viewing area is mixed with sitting, standing, and leaning room. The standout there is that you have the option to sit, stand, or lean and be either above or below the band, and you can hear just as well in every space. They've got tables, couches, bar-style seating, and even a little lounge area just outside the main stage, if you need a break but don't want to leave. Covers are on the high side ($15), and cash-only, but there's an ATM right next to the door ($2.50 fee when I was there, not awful) and I didn't try any of the food or drinks this time, although when I first sat down I was approached by a server, so there is table service in some areas. I would say it's important to pick your show/crowd. While the space felt good for a small-medium indoor concert, it was also a super chill crowd and a really fun band. Rev Room... it is a place like this that makes me miss my hometown of Miami. In South Florida, we have a venue called Revolution Live--- huge concerts in an intimate setting, and in Little Rock, we have Rev Room-- although it is larger than a room and has good concerts for affordable prices. Andy Grammar, Of Montreal.... they all played here... don't hate on my eclectic music tastes. In regards to atmosphere, he place is very laid back, hip, and trendy. I have come here to see a few concerts, and there is an ample amount of standing space, a good amount of chairs, and good stage lighting to set the mood. This venue can ammonite different musical acts. One complaint i do have is that there is a $10 minimum on card, so if you just want a $2 bottle of water, it can be a bit of a nuisance. However, I just want to say thanks to the bartender who ran me up for $2 without a problem. Muchos gracias! 4.5 stars! read more

Second time I've been there. It's a lot of fun. Not fancy. Just a bar. There are good shows there. I didn't see anyone eating but they weren't there for food! As for someone saying it's a racist place? I think the music the bands play there are not for very many other races tastes. Hard Rock and heavy metal music doesn't really appeal to a lot of people of color. But I don't go to rap concerts either. Lol read more

We had played pool here but not eaten until today. The food was great, the drink specials tempting, and the service attentive. We started with a quest with chorizo and pico. It was very good. The cheese dip tasted unique and good. I had the nacho platter. It was everything I wanted. Plenty of cheese dip, meat, pico, sour cream. My wife had the little rock tacos. The fried green tomato bits were crispy and tasty, and the bacon was a good complement. Their happy hour is from 2-6. I would have liked more craft beer and local beer options, but the $5 mojito was very good. We will be back to eat. Definitely recommend for dinner. read more

A unique experience. I happened to have visited during "Beatle Brunch", which is a Beatles themed brunch. The food is ok, the service isn't the greatest. The atmosphere while trying to be hip, is kind of stuffy and somewhat messy. If you're looking for just the experience to say you went, then go. I would t recommend it though. read more

Very high cover of $30 to see a band play on Saturday night. Cash only. Standing room only inside and they oversell the tickets so it is literally so packed you can't move. There is no ac running that we could tell so we poured sweat the entire night. You can only sit down if you're buying drinks which were also overpriced. We love concerts but this was miserable. OK, this is tricky. Rev room is 3 different venues. It's a bar, a music venue and restaurant. We have participated in the bar and the sunday brunch. The bartender and server were great, and that's where my stars go. I got the chicken and waffles (first time, does this officially make me southern? It was just ok, so maybe I don't get my card yet.) and the bf got the skillet. His skillet was NOT good. Unless you like velveta cheese covering an egg and some chopped up potatoes. Here's the big bonus... It has $2 mimosa. So hopefully you've had a couple by the time you eat. The juice isn't fresh squeezed or anything, but they are two dollars people, what do you expect? As far as the bar part, it is what it is. A bar. The whole place needs a really good cleaning. There are a lot of chotchskies. Too many not to get a dusting. Low Rent shop, unfortunately aside from White Water Tavern they're currently the only game in town. Opportunity abounds for Live Nation or another entrepreneur to enter the Little Rock live music scene. You cannot buy tickets in advance unless you go through their website and pay nearly $4.00 in ticket charges (20% of the concert fee!!!). Day-of tickets at the door often $2-3 more than "List price." Could be so much more but doesn't make an effort, fortunate to get 3-4 good shows a year. Nice atmosphere. Food's too salty and a tad overpriced for their portions. Mixed drinks are way too sweet. They did have pool tables and arcade machines, but the pool tables fell into disrepair and they never got around to taking care of that. As a music venue, they're not bad. Sound system seems to be on point as long as the sound man is. Hopefully they'll get more kickass bands on THE WEEKENDS and not the weekdays now that Juanita's is gone. Was there recently. First thing I noticed was all the security. The crowd was geriatric bunch including me. There have been nurses probably. They walked around a lot and looked mean. Seating and tables were very limited. Waitresses were on the move getting drinks. The venue is not that great for sound if there is live music. The floor at the area around the stage is uneven. The worst thing is no last call for alcohol and the restroom. I tried going to the restroom after the performance and was met by bouncers saying the restrooms are closed now. Not good when you have.
