Just giving you a heads up, Hoō la breath is the only bracelet that is premade and can't be customized according to the website you can only choose from 5 different premade options. But I highly recommend to get the Mauli Ola Breath or the others since you're able to customize them according to your personal energy and situation. They go by appointment only so I recommend calling in rather than messaging because I tried to message them on their Linechat, I didnt get a response till 3 weeks later after my appointment haha. Just to be clear: A "star party" is a bunch of people getting together to look at the stars, the ones that are up in the sky. It's a mellow and inspiring experience. Hawaii is a good place to do this, because the city lights are bright enough to overwhelm everything. As long as you're not in downtown Honolulu, you can see many constellations; if you get out into the country, it's awesome. You can see a lot of southern constellations from Hawaii that you can't see from more northern latitudes. HAS is a nonprofit run by amateur astronomers who like stargazing, and they share their love of the stars with the public twice a month. Look at the website for dates and details. The parties are always on Saturday evenings, starting as it gets dark, and going until the last person is satisfied (usually a couple of hours). Two of the shows occur simultaneously -- one in Kahala, and one in Waikele -- on a Saturday when the Moon is up in evening. Two or three weeks after that, there's a star party at Dillingham Airfield on the North Shore, where the skies are often clear and really dark. That's a much longer drive for most people, but it's worth it! The dark heavens are really beautiful. HAS members always bring a handful of telescopes. They will greet you and show you what's visible -- planets, constellations, nebulae, other things. The HAS folks are knowledgeable and happy to answer questions. These are not luxury events, by the way. No one will provide chairs or bring you hot chocolate. But you can bring these yourself, as well as snacks and anything else to keep you comfortable. I recommend bringing a jacket -- even though it's Hawai'i, you can get chilly at night, more easily on the North Shore, and especially in December-March. Two things you should not bring: 1) Alcohol -- it's not allowed at the star parties, and even if it were, it degrades your night vision. 2) Cameras, unless you turn off the flash. Trust me -- when you've been there for an hour, and your eyes are dark-adapted, and then someone takes a flash photo, you will be PISSED. This is one of my favorite things to do in Hawaii. Don't miss it!
