Don was always prompt and so helpful each time I reached out via email or phone; he provided us with awesome options for our vows, ideas for venues, and was so flexible and accomodating leading up to the wedding. The wedding itself was everything I've ever dreamed of. Kathy was so professional and easy to work with, and her photographs were absolutely gorgeous. Don put us both at ease with his carefree, humorous style, at the same time making the ceremony so meaningful. The photos were fun and captured everything that we wanted and then some, and were ready within days! The artistic rendering of select photos was a really unique touch as well. I am so thankful and happy to have found Don & Kathy, and would highly recommend Weddings with a Heart to anyone. They are the best!

The one star is related to the photography and only because I had to leave a star…read more I preface this review stating that the ceremony itself was fantastic. Don was great. However, his wife. AWFUL. Rude, demanding, rushed. Manic. It seems like they just woke up one day and decided to start charging people to take photos. Out of the over 200 shots his wife took, I may have one or two usable photos. Usable being generous. His wife had absolutely no idea how to use a camera, use light, angle a photo or even make sure everyone's eyes are open. Every photo was washed out. It seems that they tried to filter the photos because they were too over exposed. Instead they came out harsh. It looked as if they were shot through a bad instagram filter. But that wasn't even the worst. His wife demanded that no one else at the site take photos so we couldn't even see if anyone else was able to get a nice photo. The only two good photos that we actually framed came from my sister and her iPhone before his wife screamed that they don't allow other people to take photos. I will add that there were only 5 other people at our wedding so it's not like we were demanding these huge perfect photos. While the ceremony itself was nice, if we had to do it over again (we wish we could), I would most certainly have paid more to get usable photos. I would avoid at all costs.

When we first met with Thom and Bev they seemed amazing, accommodating and professional. I was…read moreexcited and hired them. Their work was incredible. Our wedding was scheduled for 2020, Covid happened and we post pond the wedding. They seemed accommodating and had our new date available. We meet with them for our engagement pictures and it went downhill from that point. Our pictures were horrible; they were unorganized and arguing with each other making it very uncomfortable. We decided it was too close to the wedding and to keep them as we had already paid them the full amount and we would lose our money. I meet with Bev to discuss my plans for the wedding. She argued and disagreed with every idea I had. I did not want a first look with my husband even though it is a "time saver" I wanted that moment down the aisle to be special. She disagreed with me trying to convince me for 15 minutes to change my mind. I politely refused. I then told her it was important I do a first look with my father. She did not like that idea at all. She said it was ridiculous to do a first look with my father and not my soon to be husband. She also did not like the idea I was not doing any wedding traditions like cake cutting flower or garter toss. She said "what are we supposed to take pictures of just dancing for hours" I said yes! I want candid pictures of our guests having fun, talking to each other dancing laughing and having fun. When the wedding day arrived I wanted to be in the moment and enjoy it, Take it all in. Everything was going great until Thom showed up. He came in like a whirlwind so much negative energy! The entire wedding staff (Hairdressers and makeup artists, bridal party immediately tensed up and expressed how uncomfortable they were making them feel). Bev didn't even show up the day of my wedding. I had hired two photographers. I was told she was "sick". Later I found out she took another gig (in our initial meeting they said they do not double book). Thom tossed my dress on the makeup artist table. Thank Goodness my bridesmaid and mother saw and rescued my dress immediately and told him to be careful with it. I had to tell Thom to send the other photographer to take pictures of my husband getting ready. They were sitting on the couch talking. We only received a handful of decent pictures! They took horrible side angle pictures. I told them I did not like the side view for pictures and they still took 75% of the pictures that way. I had to keep telling them what to do and who to take pictures of! I was directing family and friends and organizing who was on deck for pictures! They stood around clueless! During our reception I really wanted sunset pictures. They pulled us outside to capture the moment, but Thom had dropped the camera in the parking lot and could not get it to work. While his helper just stood and smoked. After 10 minutes of missing our time to eat I suggested to use the second shooters camera so we could get back inside. We also wanted to take back light pictures with our venue in the background. They set it up so the parking lot was in the background of all our backlight pictures. They then asked if they could leave our reception early as people were only dancing and nothing else was going on. At this point I was aggravated and said fine. We did not get our proofs back until December. Our wedding was in the beginning of September! I had to constantly call to ask what is going on with our albums or prints. Thom was extremely rude! I had tried to contact Bev who was the person I originally had the most contact with. She told me she and Thom were getting divorced and she no longer had anything to do with the company. Thom yelled at me several times stating that we were drunk during our ceremony. That was a complete lie as we didn't drink until the reception. He was the one drunk! He was stumbling dropped his camera several times and was very rude to myself, my husband and our guests. We did not get our albums that we had paid for until the end October 2022! Our wedding was September 2021. I was promised to receive my pictures in a timely manner. When I told him how disappointed I was he began to yell at me saying he's doing it by himself and it has not been a year since our wedding and I was being ridiculous! I think I know when our wedding date was! This was a few of the issues we dealt with, They did a lot more rude and unprofessional things! DO NOT HIRE THEM! RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL

I have had the great pleasure of working at the Meeting House numerous times throughout the past few years, photographing weddings on the property. The venue is incredibly unique and beautiful, with its expansive green lawn great for ceremonies, lawn games, and photographs. Also the simple yet elegant exposed beam design inside the building has so much character yet leaves room for couples to add to the space to integrate their own personal style into their wedding day. The weddings I have been able to photograph here seem to all have a comfortable relaxed atmosphere as couples and their wedding guests feel immediately at home at the Meeting House. The Meeting House staff is always pleasant and eager to help both vendors navigate throughout the space as well as couples to ensure the day runs soothly and effortlessly on the newlyweds part. I am eager to work here again in the 2015 wedding season. The photography opportunities are endless with the Meeting House being surrounded by the historic village of Tiverton Four Corners and all the historic buildings and beautiful stone walls throughout the area.

I have heard of people having bad experiences with photographers who are either too intense/demanding or too passive when it comes to taking the group shots but I must say Matt was perfectly efficient and politely directive. The videographers were present enough to capture the day fully yet we never felt that there were cameras in our faces. Our video came out so beautiful & looks so professional. A friend even commented that it should be the music video for "Perfect" by Ed Sheeran because of how well done it was. The one hold up we had was picking one of the licensed songs that they had to offer - this isn't a Blueflash concern since I'm glad they are paying for licensed song but the main website they use just didn't have some of the songs we had originally thought of. When I brought this to their attention, they immediately provided a second option for buying our own songs & ultimately newer songs were uploaded to the original website so it all worked out! Britt, who was our main point of contact, was extremely responsive and helpful throughout the entire process. I highly recommend using Blueflash to any future brides & grooms out there!!

My fiancé and I needed to relocate due to the pandemic as well because he is a frontline healthcare worker. My venue and almost all of my vendors refunded us our "non refundable" deposits - one was even $10,000! Other vendors gave half of the deposit back, understanding our loss and trying to negotiate an outcome that would be mutually beneficial. We paid Pasha a "non refundable" deposit which was close to $1,400. Pasha refused to refund our deposit or offer even a partial refund. Emails were not returned, and his tone was offensive - explaining that deposits are non refundable so that couples do not "back out of the contract". A global pandemic forcing a wedding cancellation is not "backing out". This is a poor business model, especially given the current pandemic climate and dealing with weddings. I have already told all of my Boston friends who are looking for a wedding photographer to avoid this greedy and shady business! Your wedding is one of the most important days of your life - don't trust it in the hands of this guy who has made it clear that his primary interest is only money. Also - to make it clear, there was no work done on his part to necessitate this almost $1,400 fee. We had a handful of brief phone conversations and exchange of text messages/emails. We did not meet in person, he never saw our venue or did any sort of walk through. Don't let my loss become yours next!

First, let's do the short version: YES, you should trust Pasha and his amazing team of…read morephotographers to take amazing pictures for you. His combination of creativity, unique viewpoints, bravery (snowstorm!) and talent is what you want. You'll smile while going through your pics. And that's all that needs to be said. But if you're staying for the details......Alright, let's do this: We learned a few things from Pasha, Mark and Taylor while they were snapping pics at our wedding. One -- we kiss a lot, but that's beside the point. Two - taking the time to get the small details the way you want them (I mean really putting in the effort) was worth it. And three -- we have a lot of people that love us. We now have pictures to prove it all. Nothing like catching someone smiling at you when they think no one's looking (except Pasha -- he knows, he's there for the shot). Nothing like going through your wedding photos and seeing a snap of someone writing "stay weird!" in your guestbook, or getting to retell the story of why your wedding dress has a tiny unicorn hanging from it (we got that shot too). Nothing like the smirk you get when you see that your photographer noticed the little bride-and-groom mice statues you hid inside your pastry tower. He got the special lining of the suit, he got the calligraphy on the signs, his shots show the fire in the opal and beauty of the ring its on. We got to see a million moments we didn't notice the first time around. Okay, okay. The details are captured. What about the photography? I said creative, unique, brave and talented, right? We were gasping when we hit those photos of us outside in the snow. You know how when you dream of a winter wedding you imagine snow? Yeah, we got snow....And snow is cold. But Pasha braved the storm (literal storm!) and got out there with us. This guy grabs his assistant, leads the way with his awesomely groomed viking beard and goes to work on absolutely killing the shots. They're crazy good! That's brave. So now we get to relive the feeling of snowflakes landing on us forever. We even have the cozy moment of the groomsmen playing human shield to keep the bridesmaid's warm and dry (his idea to keep them warm, btw, while me and the new Mrs. were taking more pics -- oops!). Pasha took the time to meet with us before the wedding to make sure we understood his style and that he understood ours. Everything was comfortable and friendly, and that set the tone for the wedding. He and his team just became part of the bridal party for the "getting ready" pics -- never an awkward moment. Then they hit the wedding party and became family. That's what you call people that care about your happiness and help you make the most of a special day, right? It's important to mention we didn't have to point out the details. Not all of them, at least, not by a longshot. They got the snaps anyway. That tells me they were paying attention, absorbing the details, respecting the effort, noticing the happiness of our guests and enjoying themselves. It's awesome when your photographers are part of all the warmth. That's talent. ....Well, that and making everyone on the dance floor look like they had swag to spare. Bottom line? We feel like everything got captured. Not just the people and deco, but the mood of the whole day and night. Top quality and resolution obviously. The only complaint I have is that his beard was cooler than mine. Forget the posing and planning every little shot. You want pictures that are YOU? Get someone that lives in the moment and knows how to capture them. Your pics will be amazing and a blast to go through. Five stars for Mr. Pasha Plugovoy and his team. Bravissimi! Thanks for the memories -- and that one shot where our hair looks cool.
