Perfectly spiced and tender. For my main, 2 of us ordered 2 different steaks and shared; I had a Uruguayan Ribeye, my friend ordered the Danish Tenderloin. I cannot tell you which one was better- they were equally delicious in their own way. The Tenderloin was super tender and flavorful, the Ribeye tender and bold. We ordered several sides- steak fries, mashed potatoes, Padron peppers, mushrooms- all were great! The staff were friendly and extremely helpful, made us feel very welcome. Is it expensive? Yes, the bill for 4 of us came to $320.00, $80 bucks a head, but hey, we all had steak and wine and it IS Denmark! Totally worth it though, if you want the best steak in Åarhus!

They have a big revolving door that let's cold Danish winter air in every time someone walks in. Once they seated my husband and me next to the door and although there were unreserved seats elsewhere they were not happy about us shifting. Also, they don't really read the reservation requests when they seat you. Good food.. But the experience can change quite bit.

The taste of the meat is really good. I took the ribeye which was tasteful and very juicy. The meal was very filling so you should consider taking a starter or not. There are many funny details in this restaurant. They have their own knives and pepermills. There is a towel on a hook under the table. Last is the way to order. You fill in a paper with your table and wishes for your piece of meat. This to make sure your piece is cooked as you like it.

I ordered the Garlicsteak, medium rare and was very tender, and well seasoned. If you're visiting Silkeborg or even within a 25 km radius, visit this restaurant! The owner / chef was very courteous and knowledgeable of the food and offered more french fries if I wanted them. Yummy fries, fantastic steak and a great wine selection of reds and whites! This is on my list of restaurants to visit again when I return to Denmark!
