We weren't even in the store 15 minutes and we were approached by one of the workers. Grilling us about our dogs and asking what condition is your service dog for. First of all it isn't any business to know a medical condition of a person. Second of all her other excuse was that our dogs were jumping on things. They are 12 pound cavapoos. I understand places have policies, but there was a better way of going about it. Definitely made the experience not welcoming one bit and we will not be back. We go to MANY antique stores and have never felt so unwelcomed. If you don't want dogs period. Then you need to just state it. Nothing was on the outside of the establishment before we entered. Do better.

Lisa was wonderful in helping us get started and there were so many great pieces of pottery to pick from. Given that we were leaving in a few days, we had decided to let a family member pick up our pieces when they were finished. When Lisa heard what we were planning, she let us know that she would try extra hard to get them done so we could take them later in the week before we left. She was able to get them done to my kids delight. They were a bunch of fun to create and I would highly recommend trying it. We will certainly be back if we travel that way again.

It's really peaceful & fun to just sit, paint, chat, listen to music, or decompress from stress. Highly recommend & I can't wait to see how my creation turns out!

Stores are not major anchors, only JC Penny's and Dunham Sporting Goods. It has a small food court with limited tables and the bathrooms near the food court aren't very clean or managed well. The only bright spot is the Dillard's Clearance Center that only has one entrance/exit facing the movie theatre complex. The other exits/entrances are purposely blocked to prevent theft and control where people bring their merchandise to pay. There is plenty of parking and lots of additional options to eat if you are looking for fast food or want to grocery shop at Hyvee. I hope this place survives the relatively low attendance. This place deserves a mall, especially the capitol of the state of Missouri.
