I had a follow-up appointment today with Haylee Powell, NP, and was never treated as horrifically as she treated me. Haylee treated me like I was intruding on her day. She was abrupt, and her tone of voice was abusive. She treated me and dismissed me like I was a piece of garbage. She was only in the room to collect a paycheck. If you want to be treated like garbage, Haylee is your go-to girl. The entire experience with her made me sick to my stomach. I have requested to see another provider because I refuse to have anything to do with her. She is extremely Narcissistic. read more

It took another orthopedic provider for me to found I have a bulging disc in my neck instead of just on in my back. The nurse practitioners did okay they dont have alot is leverage when it comes to dr agreed with their diagnosis. Dr pine was rude and did not listen to my concerns and I was dismissed. My primary provider was surprised that my pain management needs were poorly done by them and referred me somewhere with better communication and more options for my pain. I had a cyst on my wrist and I initially started with dr bush. Wearing a brace helped and then it came back. We knew it was 50/50 chance but with kids it was worth the shot to take the non surgical approach. When it came back he then referred me to a new hand Dr, Dr Dhulipala. The man was top notch. He gave me my options we decided to go all in and take it out and within a month I was on the operating table. The surgery was flawless and I can honestly say I didn't have any pain during recovery. His nursing staff called me everyday to check up on me and I couldn't be more pleased. When it comes to pricing, I can't really review that since that comes down to your insurance situation but overall I didn't feel like I was pressured into any unnecessary test. They actually gave me the option to decide if I wanted an MRI, which I ended up doing since i just wanted to be sure. Thank you Guys read more

This place does not genuinely care at all about your orthopedic problems; very dismissive and they do not accept accountability. They just put blame on someone instead of rectifying the situation or just even assisting with the situation at hand. If you would like to go to an orthopedic facility that actually cares this is not the place for you. I had a pain in my elbow and went to go see Dr. Bush, and he was great in describing me what had happened and what i needed to do in order to get back on track. what i liked about this office was that he broke things down in plain language for me so i knew what i was dealing with and how to prevent it from happening again in the future. he was able to get me a good treatment plan and get me fitted for a brace and physical therapy. the office experience was great and the check in process was smooth. many places you go the check in is usually a nightmare, but they made it very streamlined. i appreciate the staff and Dr. Bush for getting me back on track and back to my activity. read more

I was seen at the McDonough location on Friday, July 5th, 2019 after being admitted to the hospital the night before for a broken arm (humerus fracture in three places). After a relatively traumatizing night at the hospital I left with a sling and the advice to see a specialist the next day for a plan to take care of the break. Upon arriving at Resurgens I was taken back very quickly and the physician (a Nurse Practitioner I believe) had viewed the x-rays I brought taken at the hospital the night before. He very nonchalantly asked me what happened and I told him how the break occurred. After informing him that I was unable to sleep the night before due to the pain he told me everything was going to be fine. He then pulled up the x-rays on an iPhone and explained that the break would heal on its own and that I should "take a Tylenol" for the pain and "try to find a comfortable position to lay in". All of this was very alarming to me considering the amount of pain that I was in and what I was told by the ER physician the night before. He then told me to come back in two weeks and sent me on my way. I honestly felt as if he didn't listen to anything I had to say and dismissed any concern for my arm that I had. He was also very, very nonchalant about the whole situation. Not very comforting. After feeling uneasy about what I was told I made an appointment with a different orthopedic surgeon. The other physician was attentive to my needs and after taking an X-ray of his own informed me that the break was severe and a surgery was going to have to be done in the next 5 days to avoid improper healing. I was also informed that if allowed to "heal on its own" my arm would have to be re-broken during surgery to ensure proper healing. He was also shocked at what I was told with the "specialists" at Resurgens. If anyone understands X-rays I will link a picture of what the second surgeon had to do to my arm after I was told "everything would be fine" by an N.P. At Resurgens. I would go somewhere else for your orthopedic needs, perhaps to a facility that cares. read more

I have been going to Resurgens Orthopedic since 2009. And I must say I have not a single bad thing to say about this office. They have been extremely respectful to me from the front office, to the scheduling staff, to the nurses, technicians, and doctors!! Why Did I See An Orthopedics Doctor? As a former student athlete I chose to go with Resurgens as they are a reputable organization. I suffered from previous injuries as a track and field hurdler that caused my hamstrings, knees, and feet to unfortunately experience pain. Currently I am experiencing knee and joint pain, which is the reason for my return. Who Is My Physician? Dr. Stewart has been working with me for almost 10 years. He is extremely personable, professional, and knowledgeable about his field. My Recommendation: I highly recommend this location if you are on the southern part of Atlanta. The only potential negative is that he is often booked, so it does take awhile to be seen. However, I continued to call prior to my appointment date and was able to potentially be seen at an earlier time. read more

Stinkypl 12 hours ago On 4/8/22, I had a 1:15p appointment with Dr.Francois. I arrived for my appointment at 1p.This was my 1st visit with this practitioner. I brought my cd of my mri and the reports. After waiting 1 hr, the nurse came to me and said the Dr. was running late because he was stuck at the hospital. This is very understandable and I appreciated the update.She said he should be there in approximately 15min. At approximately 2:45p, the physician sauntered in the room, no apology for his tardiness and no proper introduction. He then went on to say that there was only 1 film on the cd and therefore he was unable to evaluate my condition properly. He said based on the written reports, surgical intervention would give me approximately 50% relief of pain. He did not examine me and promptly told me to come back if I opted for surgery. As a new patient, I found his bedside manner poor, his non-chalant attitude towards my condition, unnerving and his lack of concern pertaining to my time, disrespectful. If I had been 2hrs late, (regardless of the circumstances ), I would have had to reschedule for another day. Again, he sauntered in the room, and not as much as a , I'm sorry you had to wait so long. Suffice it to say, I will not return to this practitioner EVER, nor will I recommend friends/family to him. The arrogance to assume that my time is not as valuable as his. read more

Surgery on my knee went well but post op issues worse than before I had it and can't see the actual MD for over a week. Not OK. Very disappointed. Had to see NP for first post op and he was over 45 minutes late blaming staff for adding patients on to his schedule, I'm sorry was I supposed to care they can't schedule appropriately. Dr. Bush was my Orthopedist before I moved back to Southern California, and I just recently reached out to him to let him know how impactful his treatment was. I had plantar fasciitis for years, and not only did he listen, not only did he understand what my problem was, he actually had a plan to FIX me! Over a period of only two weeks, he gave me steroid shots in my heels and fixed this physical issue that was only getting worse. BEWARE! I am living a nightmare experience at Resurgens (McDonough & Covington location). My injury was misdiagnosed for months which causes the injury to be delayed in healing. I am still dealing with it after 7 months. Numerous errors were made throughout my months of care at Resurgens. One example is when an MRI of my foot was order and they only imaged half my foot!! They are always very rushed and follow the same protocol for all patients without any thought to individual care. I am a middle aged adult who sees various specialists for various conditions and have always recommended all of my doctors because of my great experiences. I refer them all, all the time however, my experience with Resurgens as I stated earlier, has been a nightmare. There are many other orthopedics to choose from. Save yourself the trouble and find a orthopedic who will take the time to provide a correct diagnosis! read more

As of today, and after nearly 2 years I am no longer a patient of Resurgens. This little cash cow with bad knees is taking her business elsewhere thanks to a salty little sourpuss named Torri working the front desk at the Mcdonough location. Having been a patient for years (and seen three months prior in the same calendar year) I was confused why I was being asked to do paperwork and fork over my physical insurance card again (cause and electronic copy won't cut it) - not a good start. Cut to 25 minutes after my scheduled appointment (for which I always arrive early) and the waiting room is completely empty & I am wondering if I have missed them calling my name? I went up to the front desk and Torri doesn't even fake an effort to check and says without any apology "we have multiple providers who regularly run behind." Ah, ok - I sit back down but am stewing because 15 minutes prior I saw 2 pharmaceutical sales reps wheeling in cases and I can't help but wonder if this is the reason they are so ready to disregard their patients time. I waited another 10 minutes and then asked them to refund my co-pay and left. Too bad, I liked Dr. Bush and physical therapist Tia - but it's not like there is​ any shortage of qualified orthopedic facilities I can transfer to. read more
