We interviewed many custom home builders to build our vision in Vintage Oaks. We quickly realized…read morethat Weston Dean is THE complete package! They make the process easy with full transparency by bringing their knowledge, designers, architects, PM's and sales guides that built our vision. They are THE custom dream home builder in the Texas Hill Country and NOT a production/track home builder attempting to enter the custom space. Our home in Vintage Oaks is 100% custom and they made it easy. The contracted price is the price. Period. No hidden fees and no out of pocket expenses like utilities. Weston Dean does not buy land then sell you their model  and land like many production builders. You buy your land and they build your dream. Our Guide Kristin is phenomenal with the budget and the details. We actually came in under budget that allowed us to upgrade our entire kitchen, flatwork, appliances and home theater. The construction team Lead by Mike did a great job building the dream that Kristin and Renee (Our designer) interpreted from our vision. Weston Dean is the premier Custom Home Builder in the Texas Hill Country you have been looking for.

Again, this is a display of dishonesty from the company, because the reply to my review stated we…read moremoved into our home with only 2 outstanding punchlist items, I'll clarify how many punchlist items we actually had since they obviously don't care enough to keep track: 1. Caps on our great room chandelier were left dangling from the chains when they should've been secured to the cedar beam. According to the painter, the builder (you) said it was because it was missing screws. It wasn't. That was fixed 3 weeks after we moved in and only after we said we'd call the owner himself if that's what it took to fix it. 2. The glass door to our wine room was missing. It's taken 8 visits and it is still NOT done. 3. Missing one oven in kitchen. Was installed 1 week AFTER closing. 4. Pantry doors missing. Was just completed last Friday and only after 8 visits and them having to redo the doors completely. 5. Scratched appliances. Your subs damaged our range as they were moving and installing it in multiple places. The door was replaced a week and a half ago and the trim still hasn't been replaced. 6. Dents and scratches in microwave. Was replaced/fixed a week AFTER closing. 7. Master carpet was glued down instead of stretched properly. Completed 2 AFTER closing. 8. Cabinet hardware missing in the studio. Completed 2 weeks AFTER closing. 9. Missing towel bar in secondary bath. Completed 2 weeks AFTER closing. 10. Towel bar not properly installed in master bath. Completed 2 weeks AFTER closing. As anyone can see, there was much more than 2 things that were on our punchlist. Their PM knew about it but probably didn't reveal those things just like he wasn't willing to give us a survey unless we promised to recommend them. We weren't satisfied with the condition of our home. We were forced to move in because we had thousands of dollars tied into mover's and move out fees from our apartment. We actually postponed closing 2 days because all of these things were outstanding on the first closing date. In fact, we were so disgusted with the PM and the state of our home that we told them to forgo any pomp and circumstance that the company usually does because it was all a farce. The VP and PM told us that two employees I referred to in my original review were fired, one left because she moved out of town, and the other left to take a job with another builder; that's 4 of 7 employees we dealt with. The remaining three are still at the company. so their explanation that the pandemic was the reason why is false. The company still fails to accept that the level to which they claim to treat all of their customers was not met. We STILL have outstanding issues in our home and instead of accepting responsibility and doing the right thing they continue to make excuses. The fact that reply is filled with mistruths proves even further that they only care about looking good on paper and not in practice.

They all required a min of 48 hours response time, and then a few more days to ship them out. I decided to go local and was more than happy with the customer service, speed and quality that Badgeworks Plus gave me. I called them, got their email address and sent them a simple graphic with my name and title. his was at around 3:00 in the day. They said they'd have a mock-up the next morning and required a deposit. I was a little hesitant, but realized it made sense. The next morning, I had 2 mock-ups in my inbox at 9:45 am! And guess what? Both of them looks great! I only needed one, but I ended up buying both since they both looked so good, and I figured it's good to have a back-up. Overall, I would highly recommend Badgeworks Plus to anyone in El Paso needing fast, affordable and high quality name tags.

So each week there are two presentations with each group talking for five to six minutes about their business or idea and then get Q and A' d for 15 minutes from the audience. If you have seen Shark Tank, this is very similar minus the funding providing by Make Cuban, Damon John, Mr Wonderful, Barbara Corcoran, and the others. Minus a few presentations I missed, I love coming to watch the weekly presentations! Each presentation is different but in many cases you get to see a start up, how they are or plan to impact the El Paso community, and hear about any issues they may be facing. Also you get to talk to these budding entrepreneurs. Every week you can find 1 Million Cups on Wednesday at 9 am. Maybe I'll see you there.
