But the real reason why I am writing this review (my first on Yelp) is my experience during the class. I am fairly new to crossfit and since starting I have been nervous about when I finally have to do snatches in a class (I have struggled with back and knee pain for several years). Of course, it was the class in an unfamiliar gym with unfamiliar coaches. But the coach, Brady, was excellent. He worked with me to ensure my technique was solid and continually checked up on me throughout the WOD. I am now looking forward to the next time we have to do snatches in a workout. Thanks, Brady! Your help was greatly appreciated. The space itself is laid out really well and it is easy to find any of the equipment needed. Further, the members were welcoming, helpful, and encouraging. If I am ever in Door county again, I will be dropping in for my classes at Armati without a doubt.

The rates are extremely reasonable, at $23/dog and $18 for the second dog sharing a same kennel. I added a 10 minute country stroll each day for my dogs, which was $1.50/walk. Each day, they'll clean any bedding you bring, which is a bonus. My dogs seemed happy when I picked them up, so that's really mostly what I'm basing my review on. I really had wished there was some sort of report card about how my dogs were. They're not exactly the most easy to take care of, so I usually like updates. It smelled of dog urine in the entryway, which I know is hard to get rid of, but I wish there were a better smell.

Nor Door Sports has consistently provided quality products combined with fast & friendly service. It is nice with an active family to know that my kids are on good bikes, that we have a place to go for bike info, and can stop by for repairs. There has been times when the bike(s) have had to spend a night or two, but a call or text to let me know the bike is ready, then I'm back on the road/trail. More often than not I'm in with a flat/minor repair & out before I've checked all my emails. Even during my triathlon days, when I bought a tri-bike, zipp tire & power tap, thru Facebook Marketplace, all I needed to do was bring in the bike for Lief to inspect in order to determine the correct conversion parts (rear cassette). A day or two later... Leif has ordered parts, re-assembled the components, and I have been on the road ever since (at least until I hung up the spandex for mountain biking shorts). It is not uncommon to see him helping out someone put on their car rack; as he did mine; that I purchased thru Nor Door; after helpful research by Lief. In short, good products + good service = great bike shop. Plus, Leif is a wealth of knowledge on road routes, off road trails & regional group rides. This store is simply a not miss for gear and clothing (can't speak to rentals). When asked for recommendations Mark is knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and decisive. It's either a thumbs-up (yes, it's been a great seller and my customers are super positive about this item) or a thumbs-down (no, not a great choice, find something else). I found the clothing fits well, is sized accurately, and lasts a long time. I've worn pants and shirts from two years ago that still look great, even after heavy use. The outerwear like barn jackets and vests show literally no wear. While I'm sorry those most recent three reviewers didn't have a great experience, please do not overlook this gem of a shop. While it might not be on the main drag, it's but a short 10'ish minute walk from there over the bridge. And what views on the way!
