Burger came to the table very rare and had to go back to the kitchen for extra grill time. Not a problem, staff handled the issue. Fries were seasoned nicely. I had the blackened blue cheese burger. BTW burger meat was coarse ground just the way we like it and the patty was at least 1/3 pound, probably larger. My burger was a little more cooked than wifeys, but bloody juices and blue cheese looked like a battle wound. Had to scrape some off and cover quickly with the bun. Taste was very good. I had a nice side salad with blue cheese dressing to round out the experience. Highly recommend without any reservations. Great place to relax and enjoy.

Yes, it has the picturesque 18th hole, but 1-17 are truly awful. The greens barely have grass and are textured like the surface of the moon, every tree meets the ground in a rat's nest of branches, debris and overgrowth, and the sand traps are either muddy or filled with weeds. The entire place feels like the greenskeeper is a stoned 15 year-old. Whoever owns this course should be embarrassed to charge $59 (on a Monday!). This is maybe a $25 course... but $59 positions the Alpine Goat Track $21 less than Peninsula, $1 less than The Orchards, and $9 MORE than Maxwelton Braes (which is vastly superior and recently very improved). Play anywhere but Alpine. Very sad to see Alpine deteriorate.

There's a couple par 3s (9 and 17) that are fun holes to play. Management changed this past season and the course and traps seemed like they were in much better shape. They do have tennis courts along a few of the holes on the back 9 that haven't been used in years and have become fairly dumpy....it would be nice if they were either cleaned up or removed.
