Reasons I recommend the school? 1)The Product! Martial Art Schools are not the cheapest to join even the "budget" ones require a significant monthly price so with all of that out the way we understand that since no martial art school is inexpensive then we have to justify the cost by the product itself and I believe that is where driven shines. You will be learning Muay Thai, Boxing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, as well as some MMA and Fitness Programs the school has. This is not your typical put a uniform on and yell Hiya! these are tried and proven arts at the very least you will get an amazing workout just by doing the moves at its peak you will get a great workout but also learn world-class fighting arts for self-defense or sport. 2)The Coaches. (pick a compliment it prob applies to them) 3)The Schedule makes it to where unless you are out of town if you really really try you can make a class.

I'll definitely return for another class the next time I'm back in town!

This includes cardio machines, free weights, squat racks and boxing heavy bags and double end bags. They also have a family plan which I used to enroll my 10 year old in monthly membership as well for $125 extra. This is a very reasonable price for up to 5 days a week of children's classes. Parents looking to roll should definitely consider enrolling their child for these great classes. The kids classes run from Sunday thru Thursday. I'm happy I made the decision to come back.

I tried out a few gyms before coming to PBJJ. He didn't try to lure me in, or sell me on anything. Upon my first visit, I was greeted by Emily, one of the owners, who led me into the class. I was then greeted by the other owner Art, who welcomed me as the class was doing warm ups. At the time, I had no clue they were owners, just based upon how integrated into the school they were/are. All of the schools I've been to I never met the owner. I think it's very cool. A lot of gyms feel like corporations. Not this one. It's a perfect balance between professionalism and fun. Emily and Art genuinely care about you and don't put up with any crap. If you get hurt, they will make it their mission to find out who, what, when, where, and, why. That brings me to my next reason why I love PBJJ. The culture at this gym is vastly different than the other gyms I've been to. Not only are the owners welcoming, but everyone that trains there is welcoming. Every single instructor will introduce themselves to you if they have never met you before. Instead of making you feel like a noob on your first, second, third day, they make you feel comfortable and a part of the family. Most importantly, the quality of the instructors and classes are top notch. Most of the instructors are black belts, which is highly unusual. They are all so knowledgeable, and each one brings their own style which helps you develop your game better. Additionally, from white to black belt, there is a very diverse mix of students that train there. This gives you the opportunity to roll with people of various experience and sizes. It also gives you the chance to have multiple rolling partners so you're not constantly rolling with the same few people. Overall, BJJ is a sport you have to love, obviously, but where you train makes all of the difference. If you're new to BJJ, or you're looking for a gym, I highly recommend just coming and trying out a class. You will soon understand why I've grown so fond for that place.

I personally have trained here for the last three years and have even rehabbed a shoulder injury with Ned's help . Upon opening the door and walking in everyone looked at me and my kids and immediately knew we were unknown strangers. No one screamed stranger danger. Instead we were greeted by the warmest group of people I could have ever wished I met. I knew right away I was in the right spot. Alex, the owner came over and said hi. Mario, the kids instructor, introduced himself and asked the kids if they wanted to join a class. He makes it a point to know every child's name. He remembered both my kids names the next time we went. They love him and talk about him all the time! Shoes and socks came off quicker than you could imagine and before I knew it I felt I had been going here for years. Everyone was talking to me, introducing themselves and telling me how great the place was and how much their kids love it. My kids were treated like they were regulars and had smiles from ear to ear.
