Five stars for Henry's Junk Removal and Demolition!…read more I'm Jim Pecora, a realtor in Concord and Gastonia. I recently had a client whose house needed a major cleanup before going to closing. The seller was unable to tackle the job themselves, and I needed someone reliable to get it done quickly. Henry's Junk Removal and Demolition came to the rescue! They were incredibly professional and communicative throughout the entire process. They even reached out to see if they could start the job earlier, which was a huge help considering the tight deadline. Henry's excellent service went above and beyond in this case: The initial estimate was for 1.5 truckloads of junk removal, but the job ended up being much larger. There was a significant amount of yard debris to clear, including a chopped-up tree with dead branches hidden behind the shed, years' worth of accumulated tree branches, and even a full 55-gallon drum of miscellaneous waste. Despite the increased workload: Henry provided a very reasonable price upfront, and even though the job required three truckloads instead of 1.5, he charged me just a bit more, but not as much as he should have. he was efficient, thorough, and meticulously cleaned up everything. He was friendly and a pleasure to work with throughout the entire. In this competitive market, it's crucial to have reliable partners to help showcase properties in their best light. Henry's Junk Removal and Demolition is exactly that! I highly recommend them to any realtor or homeowner needing junk removal or demolition services.

Don't get tricked!…read more I requested Junk King to come out to clear out a storage unit that I had won in an auction. When I was requesting, I was told that I would be given a quote at the beginning of the job. When they arrived, the first guy who got out of the truck took a look at the unit and said they could do it for the cost of half a load. Then the other guy got out and said 3/4 to full load but most likely 3/4 and that they would do their best to get it to be as small of a load as possible. I should have known better. They worked to make the truck look as full as possible. The unit had vacuum tubes that could be used to make the load look a lot fuller than it was and that's exactly what they did. The 2nd guy told the first guy that they would load the vacuum tubes last. I didn't understand why at first but then later I did. The unit had rolls of carpet that were heavy and could have compressed anything lighter (like the tubes) from the unit if they had been put on top. They worked to make sure that was not the case - putting the carpet in first and then the lighter stuff on top to make the truck look fuller. When I left a review on Google explaining that I felt tricked, the owner called and left me a message offering a refund if I took down the review. I called him back and left a message telling him that if he agreed to change his business practices and gave a refund for how they tricked me, I would take the review down. He apparently couldn't do that and instead decided to not give a refund or change his business practices. Sad. If you must use Junk King, don't use Rock Hill Junk King and if you must use them, make sure you get an exact quote and that they load the truck efficiently. If I were you, I'd avoid altogether!
