My family has always been suspicious of chiropractors. Do they really facilitate healing, or do they just want to keep people returning to them? I have been to many chiropractors over the years, and none of them have proven to be sincerely focused on restoring their clients' health as much as Restoration Chiropractic has for my family and me. One day, my family's suspicion was overcome by the need for relief of pain in our backs. We had just moved to Castle Rock and did not know where to go for chiropractic care. My daughter Googled chiropractors in the area and discovered Restoration Chiropractic with its 100% five-star review status. She and her husband gave them a try and promptly recommended I do the same. Since the first time we began going to them for care, we have all been feeling much better--not only in our backs, but in the rest of our bodies, as well! Absolutely, Restoration Chiropractic has overwhelmingly met my family's chiropractic needs, effectively restoring holistic health to our bodies in a friendly and welcoming environment. It is important to me for chiropractic care to be effecting healthy change in my body, or I feel it is not worth the time and expense for the care. The staff at Restoration are interested in helping their patients move towards health and wholeness in their entire bodies. They take X-rays and schedule time to explain to each client the individual areas needing alignment not only in their spine but other areas of the body as well. They develop a custom-made plan for each person that includes regular visits, traction on a table to loosen vertebrae, prescribed traction devices to be utilized at home, and assigned daily exercises for people to do on their own. Their goal is to help their clients to attain health and NOT to keep their clients simply frequently returning for the rest of their lives. After the client completes the four-month treatment plan, they take X-rays again and analyze the client's progress. I was pleased to see all the progress my body had made since the initial X-ray. This health improvement is evident to me, personally, as I now have fewer headaches and much less pain in my back. The quality of care I receive is superb. I am grateful for this newfound health and lack of pain in my body. The customer service from all the staff at Restoration is superb. I am always greeted with friendly smiles when I enter. I even joked with one of them, "Do you ever have a bad day?" They are genuinely kind and happy in their interactions. They communicate well with me and respond promptly to my calls and emails. They are flexible with the schedule and have been understanding when I needed to adjust my appointment time. I have never felt rushed or as though I was an inconvenience to them. I have grown to look forward to my interactions with everyone there and am a little sad I do not need to go so often anymore, for I miss them! I don't feel their costs are outrageous, but it is a little higher than some places I have been. The fact that they do not take medical insurance is inconvenient, although one can submit receipts from Restoration Chiropractic to their own insurance company for reimbursement. Because the quality of care is so high, though, I understand their need to charge higher prices. I believe it is worth the sacrifice to pay the extra for the great care I have received. They do offer wellness plans that provide significant discounts, but they never pressure clients to make commitments. They have been intentional about decorating their office to have a welcoming feel. Couches in the waiting area are comfy while still supportive for people with sore backs. They have a coat rack in the corner that seems to say, "Make yourself at home." I enjoy the ambiance the patio lights above the traction tables give. The industrial vibe is a pleasure to experience every time I'm there. Each day a different genre of music is playing, and I've grown to anticipate what interesting creative playlist I may hear when I go for an adjustment. For people looking for resolution to spine and joint issues and not just temporary fixes, Restoration Chiropractic is a fantastic option. I've been visiting this chiropractic office for a few years now. The staff here is incredible, always positive spirts, positive vibes and smiles everywhere. The Dr's are all great, they spark up great conversations, are great with kids and adults alike. I really can't see myself visiting another office. The one con is that these folks here become like family so when someone leaves or you don't see them bc you visit on (their days off) it does become a bummer! Then we jumped ship and followed him when we heard he started his own practice in Castle Rock. Being a Colorado native and just moved to Castle rock I was looking for a chiropractic that was close to home. A place to bring my future kids and my husband. At first I was really impressed. The staff was nice and they took the time to really get to know me. I was so happy to have found them. Then it came to the x-Ray. Once I finally got one they pulled me in a room asked me personal questions about my finances and what my husband does and wanted me to sign up for there "program". I told them I didn't have job due to covid. Ever since I choose not to do this they have been completely rude to me. They lost my business and my future business with my family. I wanted a place I call home and they could be there for my children ect and because I didnt sign up for the $3000 program they didn't care who I was and had no interest in me. I've been going to chiropractors for many years. I had an active job with repetitive motion, and I needed occasional "maintenance". But having a little one and changing to an office-type job was really hard on my back and posture. I was getting adjustments once a month, but it wasn't enough to prevent regular headaches, back aches in my middle and lower back, and the start of some tingling in my left leg and foot [scary!]. Dr Hansen took some X-rays to determine my trouble spots. He gave me stretches and exercises that I could do at home, and he continues to educate me on how I can feel better. Everyone, including the front desk staff, is super friendly. I got on a plan at the beginning of this year so that I get adjustments 2 times a week... No more headaches! No more ache in the middle of my back just from sitting in my office chair. No more ache at the bottom of my spine in my tail bone - and no more tingling in my shin or toes. (I wasn't in terrible pain - I just felt uncomfortable.) But I feel so much better - I feel "lighter" like I can breathe more fully, and stand up straight with ease. I feel better able to exercise and move. I feel like I can focus better - or have more mental clarity. I am definitely more resilient to stress - not carrying the tension in my shoulders so much anymore. I even feel like I am more patient with my 3 year old! Every time I think back to the fact that in my mid-twenties I had come to the conclusion that I was going to live the rest of my life with chronic back pain, my mind is blown! After consulting with physicians,chiropractors and personal trainers, I was told the pain I was describing sounded like nerve pain and was given stretches and exercises I could do (recommended to be paired with an intense Ibuprofen routine) but the pain itself went untreated. While some of the recommended stretches helped ease the pain at times, it never went away. Upon my first consultation with Dr. Hansen (which I only agreed to so my husband would quit nagging me about his fantastic chiropractor) I told him that I had been previously diagnosed with nerve pain and that I was doing all these stretches and etc. but I had had this pain for years and didn't have much hope of it going away. His first question to me was "Did your previous care providers ever get to the root of what was causing your nerve pain?" I was a little dumbfounded because I thought the issue was nerve pain, I didn't know there could be an issue CAUSING the nerve pain. After a VERY thorough first consultation, Dr. Hansen discovered that I had a rib out of place! He concluded that this was what was likely the cause of this "nerve pain" I had been experiencing for all these years. After my first TWO adjustments with Dr. Hansen, the pain that I had had for YEARS was completely GONE. Mind. Blown. I continue to see Dr. Hansen for routine adjustments and I have regained mobility in my neck and spine that I had no idea I had even lost! I cannot even put into words the kind of weight I feel has been lifted. It is now 4 months later and I live day to day without chronic pain in my back and feel better than ever.
