Food: 5/5 Honestly, everything was amazing. I wish American vegan food tasted this good (less salty & sweet). We started with their verison of onigiri and a fig salad. I really loved the soft and crunchy texture of the onigiri with a juicy marinated watermelon center. For entree, we got the couscous with Okra dish. If you don't like Okra this dish is not for you. But, it was light and flavorful (slightly sour). For dessert, we got a sampler since we could not decide. Clearly, my favorite was the chocolate lava cake but they were all so tasty! My partner got some green vine and I got green tea. You get a whole pot of tea - great value!! Service & Ambiance: 5/5 The decor was so cozy inside and the staff were amazing! I know little to know Portuguese but, they were super nice! All in all, I would definitely go back and all for ~51€!

3.5 stars. Princesa…read moredo Castelo is a hole-in-the-wall vegan restaurant along one of the roads where tram 24 runs through the Alfama district. I was intrigued by the presence of a vegan restaurant in Lisbon, but it seems like vegan and vegetarian restaurants are plentiful here. The menu is just as tiny as the restaurant. There are 2 main dishes and a few desserts and starters. I ordered the daily dish, which was called Brunch. It included vegan cheese on toast, vegan sausages, a slice of sun-dried tomato, roasted beets on top of potatoes, and oats with strawberries and bananas. Elements of the dish were both a hit and a miss. As a non-vegan, the individual components were very good attempts at replicating the real thing. First, the cheese had the right texture. It had a very light and subtle flavor that I enjoyed. The vegan sausages were too dry on the inside. The beets and potatoes were particularly good, but I'm a bit biased as I enjoy beets in general. The oats in soy milk was tasty. There was a subtle sweetness to it. Overall, the food was good and a good value for €13.

We got the vegetable curry twice, as well as a quinoa salad, a tofu scramble, a carob cake, and some juice. Out of all of these, the quinoa salad was my favorite. But even the warm curry was delicious on a hot day! The carob cake was a bit dry and crumbly tasting, though -- I think I can bake a better one myself. There was quite a rush for the cheesecake, so I wonder if that would have been better? Sadly they were sold out once we wanted dessert. Service was a bit slow and they don't open before noon, but that's fine when you are on vacation :) As others have mentioned, the space is small, so going here with a large group is probably not advisable. I liked that their food menu was hand-written. It sounds like they just make up the menu as they go, and include whatever dishes they can make with the produce they have available that day. Overall, I very much enjoyed eating here -- it was nice to just get some good old vegetables among all the meat offerings of Portugal!

But the highlight was a dish called Jardin d'Eve containing rice, pumpkin, quinoa, nuts, dried fruits, pea sprouts and arugula. Get it. For dessert, the pies are outstanding. There is a beautiful, quiet outdoor dining room with lovely quiet music, and the prices are LOW. Highly recommended.

That makes our life so much easier. I had cacoburger. I like the burger but not so much of the chips that came with it. Friends ordered mystical kebab, Thai curry noodles, Mexican chilli. Everyone loved what was served. Because it was so good, we decided to go back the next day and we all ordered different food to try out the next day. The second day we went back, Bf wasn't feeling very well. One of their staff would come by to ask him if he needs anything else and is feeling better once a while. Overall they not only showed their food is awesome, the customer service has exceeded expectation by far. The stuffed mushroom and kebab lollipop are very tasty and flavorful as well.

Terra is a buffet style vegetarian place and it was really good! There was a lot of awesome dishes and the staff is super friendly, I really enjoyed chatting with them. There's a cute outdoor seating area with large trees that cover the patio. There's also definitely an almost Indian/eastern influence to some of their dishes, which was great because I love those types of flavors. Some of the dishes they had were couscous, some type of curry dish, and vegetarian pizza. If you're vegetarian, this is a great option! They also have really good desserts as well.

One of my biggest concerns about the trip was finding decent restaurants with vegetarian options and this was such a great option. We reserved on trip advisor for 7:30 and were seated promptly. The buffet was replenished (several times just because of us, so sorry to the other diners) frequently and the food was fresh, diverse, and delicious. As others have mentioned it felt a little pricey as compared to other places in Lisbon and the buffet feels a bit random (no specific theme to the food) but they were so accommodating and everyone in our group was satisfied. The desserts were also appreciated - I especially loved the tiramisu!
