The Mr & I were looking for a nice restaurant to meet up with the fam for my Brother In Law's birthday celebration & Flair Parkhotel Weiskirchen was equal driving distance for us all Starters included the Cream of White Tomato Soup - really! This was a white tomato soup ( and I have never heard of a white tomato ) The soup was very creamy and the tomato flavor was mild - a pleasant starter Others had the Dandelion Greens salad & loved how the bitter greens paired so well with the sweet dressing Entrees included - halibut for Mother In Law - arrived in a bamboo steamer which saw all the hollandaise sauce go right through - maybe she should have taken the fish out of the steamer? Whatever it was, she felt the taste was off Sister in Law had the Steak - loved it Brother In Law chose the Dandelion Greens Salad w fried eggs, potatoes & bacon vinaigrette. He loved the salad Dad in Law, Mr & I chose the Dumplings with Mediterranean Stuffing. Not a lot of stuffing & flavors were very bland - Dad liked it a lot & the Mr & I were hoping for more flavor Desserts included mango sorbet with fruit, Ice cream sundae & the best of the bunch was the cheese curd in sugar cage with strawberries. Good & milky sweetness. Lovely berries It was great catching up with the family & the setting is absolutely lovely. There is an attached bar that was packed with fun-loving patrons.
