After returning from a trip to Paris we were looking for a quality dinner in Saarbrücken. Tomate 2 popped up so we decided to give it a try. It's an intimate and dimly lit space. For a Friday night it wasn't insanely packed. There were plenty of seats available. We started the meal with some Limoncello. Great flavor. Our salad and risotto came out at the same time. The server was kind enough to let us know the portion of the salad after we tried to order 2. It's a HUGE salad. Definitely only one per couple. The Rosalie salad had amazing flavor. The goat cheese practically melts in your mouth. The risotto was shockingly good. Honestly one of the best I've had in a long time. For dessert I had the Profiteroles. These were a childhood favorite so to have them in a restaurant was a nice treat. Overall this was a phenomenal dining experience. This is a restaurant I'll happily return to.
